In Idaho the SNAP is going down. There is no increase at all. The little raise we got on SSI made the snap go down a couple hundred. Wow, you get increase of $29.00 and they take away $200.00 on food. So wrong. This is why people can not make ends meet. So wrong. God Bless

How do you not qualify? Look into QMB in your state. The Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) Program is a federal and state-funded program that helps low-income Medicare beneficiaries pay for Medicare Part A and Part B premiums, deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. QMB beneficiaries are not legally required to pay for these costs, and Medicare providers are prohibited from billing them for cost sharing. However, QMB individuals may be responsible for a small Medicaid copay.

My husband has never gotten food stamps. He naturally lives with me but they don't count him. He's, from the UK & has lived here for 5 years. His 2 yr green card expired, we did what we were suppose to do. Paid government fees & Laywer fees & we've been waiting for his 10 yr green card to be approved. It use to take 18 months now they've expended that to 4 years. He has filed taxes for going on 5 yrs. I don't think it's fair they give people who demand to come to this country and they get everything. We send billions overseas. He's got to eat too. I got $23 but I don't know if I'll get anything. He's had a TIA mini stroke and is barely able to work PT. I'm so stressed. He will be 60 soon & you would think we could do better than this as a country 🇺🇸 😢😢😢
