A race car would consist of deleting any non essential systems, removing all interior, stiffened chassis, custom manifolds a stand alone and custom suspension. Some coil overs and some power is not a race car.

Body shop guy here. For your trim, use a 3M double sided tape and use an adhesive promoter before you apply. Makes all the difference. Hope it helps!

@adamlz a trick that I've always had good success with as far as trim goes...clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol, get a heat gun and warm up the trim and apply the double sided tape to the trim. Heat the space where the trim goes on the car and heat the double sided tape that's on the trim and stick it on. Put ample pressure when applying and you should be good to go buddy
