I feel this is a must do upgrade right away if you plan to do any crawling or adding weight to the RC. these are light trail trucks out of the box and not designed for adding all the extra weight like full metal role cages/bumpers etc. these parts fit the 1/6 FMS Jimny and the 1/6 ROCHOBBY willys

You can also bend the steering link outward..the same thing happened to my Fullmetal WPL

@@RCVOODOO when looking at the truck head on..grab the steering link with some pliers and pull the link towards your body..this will bend it outward and correct the steering issue

Those are so cool! My grandfather was a farmer in Puerto Rico and all he ever owned were Jeeps. He had a CJ-5, two CJ-6 (4 cylinder), a 1947 CJ-2A, and a Willys pickup like from 1967. What do one of those cost? I'm looking to get into this. Btw, saw the Veteran band, served honorably from 1985-1997.

Pretty much any 25t servo horn is gonna work . I bought a pack of injora horns I use to replace all my plastic ones

The stock wheels are narrow but very true to scale. I have sold all my stock wheels so I can't measure for you. I replaced them with 2.2 wheels and tires.

Do you know of any metal roll cages for the Jimny? I will buy myself some metal c hubs for my Jimny and keep them until or if anything happens to my Truck and then i'll have replacements.

The only metal cages are guys making them for personal use. I'm not aware of anyone selling them. You could ask around in our fb group if you were interested in someone making you one, I'm sure.

@@RCVOODOO I found a video by a clever chap who made one out of coat hangers. Instead of tack welding he used electrical tape to hold it together. It looked ok but i might approach a friend with a welder.

I have them on channel 3 or 4. Not sure. It doesn't matter. What channel you use. They will come on when you power on the truck.
