Being pedantic: the black and white stripes are called “invasion stripes“ and were painted on ALL allied aircraft around the time of d day forward in Europe. The allies enjoyed such air superiority, they dispensed with low visibility in exchange for recognisability. Friendly aircraft were more a hazard than enemies. Lovely build as always Ebroin

If you have no experience, try to mimic what I did on the first video. It is hard to explain and understand in words, much easier to learn from watching. It is the main purpose of my videos, I truly wish people to learn from my experience. Watch the 'flow' and thickness of the sculpted fabrics I did on the video.

The first release of this kit was an MCP (multi colored parts) kit of the Korean F-15. Subsequent releases were moulded in grey, hence the reason why the parts were divided according to the colours. And thanks for sharing the method to avoid masking. Never thought of it despite having built a couple of this kit. Will try next time!

Beautiful as always. The new thruster nozzles looked to be FDM printed. How did you get rid of the layer lines?

They were purchased after market, it doesn't look like Ebroin did any work on them, unless it was off camera?

I think they were printed by SLS or DLP printer. I couldn't see any line, so I didn't do any sanding on them, except for the gates.

@@EbroinSong Inside the turbines I could see layer lines thanks to the light. Though considering where they are nobodu can see them if they don't go looking for them. :) it's a flaw I developed through work. I dealt with a lot of quality and fault problems so nowadays I too easily see imperfections. Makes work on my models a pain. That is why I love your work: your work is exemplary and pretty much perfect.

@@jaanikaapa6925 I couldn’t see any print lines in the video. I own a couple of those KA exhausts in 1/48 scale and what I can see on them is the inside ribbing and cooling holes. Jet exhausts aren’t smooth, but have a lot of structures in them to guide the exhaust gasses and cooling air bypassing the engine core. Maybe that’s what was showing. Also the white color is a ceramic heat resistant coating that is bright white when freshly applied but turns into a filthy black/brown after some hours of hot gasses passing by. ☺️

Great job! What company did you get the aftermarket exhaust nozzles from? Those that come with the kit are not large enough in circumference to get them on without doing some damage to the kit. It looks like the ones you used slid right on with no problem.
