1/72 Hawker Sea Fury - Cheap and cheerful from Pioneer II - Full Build / BAV

Available from PM Model since the dawn of time, this Pioneer II tooling of the Sea Fury is often th only choice for modellers in 1/72 scale. Even though I am not one for vintage toolings I saw this and gave it a go. So enjoy!

As you say, it's the right Sea Fury shape. Probably best viewed from a distance. Sad to think kit standards like this were the norm and I used to think they looked the dogs' dangly bits. Have a nice one....

I built this kit last year in humbrol acrylics looking exactly like yours and very pleased with it despite being a basic kit. Easy to build. The prop blades have no twist on them but it doesn't really show.

Monogram kits from the mid/late 70s were very nice kits. They even had very good pilot figures!

The Trumpeter kit is woefully inaccurate especially around the landing gear
