Hamilkar Barkas Danke Michael! and its about time! the "cross of christ" looks pretty good on these jets... Classic and modern.. F16 is my favorit jet! the other day i was on an expo here about jobs... and there was an army and air force with an F16 on display... i went on the cockpit and with the pilot near by i did the starting procedure step by step (it was a dummy of corse) in the end of "full engine start" The Major asked... What simulator do you use? (yes i use sims but also have all Nato manuals and i ve read ot all) i answered NATO Manuals! he jyst smiled!!

Is it possible to use acrylic paint in an airbrush?
@AlexModeling7 жыл бұрын
John Fisher you can use... acrilic and enamel based paints on an airbrush... regarding you thinned it with its respective thinner... tamyia paints however are acrilic but they can be thinned with X20a thinner or laquer thinner the same way!

@nicolasgjenganger54367 жыл бұрын
it has nice decals for the Portuguese air force (and it was the only kit I found with Portuguese roundels), it is a kit with many parts, something for experts like you are.

I like watching the cockpits come together the most. I was looking for an F-104 seat more detailed than what came with the kit and ran across an aces 2 ejection seat for the 15's 16's and the Hogs. So my F-104 OR MY B-17 might have an aces 2! Jazz it up a little lol. Thanks for these full builds! I learn something new every time.The last model I remember building I was in the military. My room dog said looks like the Air Force inspired you to build model jets, I said no model jets inspired me to join the Air Force lol! And can any one here tell me the name of that puke green color on the inside of a B-17, does it have a name?

Hi Alex. Fantastic model. Being Portuguese myself I love your choice of version. In fact I have a similar set of decals, but these are from Model Maker Decals. one thing I've noticed is mine don't come with the serial nr of the plane above and under the wings. So which decals are correct? Do you have any links to photos of the real thing? Also, I'm using the Academy F-16 C as the base model. Do I need to change anything to make the Portuguese version? And finally, which colours did you use to paint it?
@frankassis26846 жыл бұрын
Hi Alex. You didn't reply to my queries. Would be nice to have your feedback.

+Frank Assis Ola.

Vou pesquisar a informaçâo acima. Obrigado e bom início de ano.

How come you put the radar warning blisters on the nose backwards? Also the static discgargers inner on the rear of wings are too long actually flash from mold and the discgargers on the stabs are randomly broken off. Looks like you got some serious orange peel Surface from the airbrushing as well. A Quick and Dirty build.
@AlexModeling6 жыл бұрын
Its already corrected... thank you for your comment
@AlexModeling6 жыл бұрын
Oh and.. i went to your channel! Great work! Your my new hero!
@poseidonswe6 жыл бұрын
What does that have to do with that you know not much about airplanes and can not even follow instructions right. Myabe the orange peel was just when airbrushed they clear varnish and maybe it flattened out when drying. You know nothing of my modelling i proud myself with making masters for many detail major conversion sets for other modellers to enjoy so I consider myself skilled to make parts from scratch with needlefiles knife and polish pads. I have nothing to do with that you put the radar warning reciever blisters on the side the wrong way
@poseidonswe6 жыл бұрын
Im glad you noticed and great you turned the model into a little gem in the end.
@poseidonswe6 жыл бұрын
By the way you put the flightstick aslo the other way around flightsticks tend to be leaning forward always and any spade grip pickle handle is always in front of hand since you have no fingers on the back of the hand. Hope can be repositioned. is well built kit overall just sorry small mistakes are too easy to make when not knowing airplanes so well.
