Great video! Thanks for unlocking class B the easy way

Oh yes it was definitely helpful. As you know there are so many ways to subnet but you broke it down very well and it didn't take hours to explain! Lol

This was so helpful! Thank you. I’ve been struggling in class with subnetting

gotta say I'm enjoying your videos. you really keep it simple and clear. I know when I was learning subnetting I was making it complicated and doing things the long way for myself, like counting up the values on my fingers. keep up the good work man, it's much appreciated.

I have done this in incd1. I've been ill so just started incd2 8 months later and Can hardly remember shit (I have severe chemo fog as we call it as I'm on my second lot of chemo since before starting icnd1 lol) But you're a pretty good teacher and its coming back fast with you 😀👍👍

Do you have a support or direct email address for questions a student may have?

I want to thank you for giving me some push with your videos. I'm 19, currently in Cisco 2 and will be taking Cisco 3 next semester and I'm obsessed with this stuff. It just makes sense and it's amazing to see the stuff I'm learning in your videos! I'm an IT Support specialist right now, but I plan on becoming a network engineer in my later days. If you could make a video on VLSM, OSPF, ACLS, BGP, RIP, and OSPF that would be great because I know many people have a had a hard time understanding it, at least in my class.

Du'An Lightfoot I use packet tracer for those. I haven't gotten into GNS3. Packet tracer is a good emulator for most basic to intermediate setups.

for the CCNA (200-125) exam aren't we supposed to subnet based on host requirements or also based on subnets requirements?

in 17:32 why 256? Is it because 255 from the 4th octet plus 1 from the 3rd octet?

porfirio susmiran 256 is the magic number! Always remember that

Comment: Your answers are correct my complaint is that you do steps and do not explain why and how you are doing the step. I have watched other subnet videos so I was able to follow along. Other than that I may have gotten lost.
