This is one the best designed houses profiled by Buildofy. Very tastefully and cleverly done, unlike the flashy houses from a state which dominates Buildofy's channel of late.

Sure, it's not shiny and colorful and full of flashy little features that make most common people go wow, but it's beautifully thought through and has so many little visually interesting elements that it becomes truly unique and special. Great job Meister Varma. Would love to see more of your work on Buildofy!

*I don't know why almost all architects love exposed concrete and gray colour, you need double the room lighting and sunshine, depressing walls. Too much gray color can impact on clients metal health. This is a house not jail*
@MickyOnline3 жыл бұрын
Very True. Giving wall a smooth surface with light colourwash or wallpaper would have been a better choice.

Simple yet well designed house! I don't think most people in the comment section have an idea of how a house could be tastefully done with minimal tones and materials. Thanks for sharing Meister Varma.

Good house .but there are many misses .I gues you understand how tropical climate works ..already the stains are showing in the outer paints . Also the house vibe is cutdown by the grey cement finished all ovee the walls .

Some clever space planning and multi functional spaces, The low level open sockets with kids around are tragedy waiting to happen, the Steel mullions and frames are sleek but are already starting to rust and weep onto the façade unless the architect wants to call it "Patina", lack of hanging wardrobe space is interesting, if this is not the architect's house.

Design is very good.. a touch of green-eco-architecture in it.. but theme is very dark.. use of dark colored oxides and polished cement makes it look dark.. black flooring is very nice and it's very affordable too

Let me explain my story… I am an architecture student, My parents are on tight budget, but still want wallputty, royals paints, and they did and now they are cheaping out furniture, switch boards,etc…, oof, it doesn’t make any sence Some people say neeru plastered walls don’t allow light, iaffects mental health bla bla bla, then y I feel very peaceful and balanced? I am living in it, and I don’t feel like living in a dark room, there shouldn’t be any other colours except white in that case, And even my dad now come to my room every now and then and fascinates how my room is so affordable and feels sad for lower floor to be spent so much money on marbles( that too not polished completely due to budget), wallputty, cheap non local tiles etc…. If u are tight on budget, DONT feel sad exposed brick or atleast exposed concrete is better than the fake paint textures and fake wallpapers, Y DO U WANT TO FAKE IT? Almost all the middle class family house atleast I’ve ever seen are some wat like this, they cheap out where they shouldn’t and waste money on luxuries which are again not perfectly done as they don’t use good works-man ( I forced my dad like hell for my room to be exposed neeru plaster, and now all relatives give more good comments on mine 😂 ) “ building brick wall, plastering it, applying wall putty, and sticking a brick pattern wallpaper is the worst thing a human can ever imagine in terms of architecture”
