Thanks Jump! Just watched that E-Type video.. those roads with the rock walls are pretty scary, but I'd be even more terrified if was driving something valuable like an E-Type along there.. yikes

I am in the USA and have an imported AC15 myself. Currently has 600 or so km on it. I ride it to shows and events in town. It's not fast but it sounds great and the little engine is a screamer.

I've got the remaining videos recorded, just need to edit them. I'm; going to be trying to get it registered and then I'll be able to do the same and take it to some shows. I don't plan on commuting on it :) The bike is running, but only been up the driveway so far.

@@Ducati900SS It's definitely more of a novelty piece than anything. It's a bit less practical for commuting so I just ride it to events or take it on short rides in the area.

Don't strip the top end until you have gaskets as they are hard to get , you can re use the cylinder head rubber covers. I suspect the mileage is correct

Yes, definitely going to clean up that rubber one and use it again. And we'll leave the rest assembled as you suggest. The mileage is weird because of the way the bike shows various bits of damage, and that oily soot, but is so spotless in the head there.

It's probably sooty as it's been allowed to idle for periods maybe to show people as it has a unique engine noise, running idling and not on the road allows it to soot up quick, I recently replaced the piston and fully rebuilt my engine and within 150 km it was all sooty again even though I am using factory jet settings.

I sure hope so! Do you know if hardened valve guide seals is a problem with these? I guess we'll find out when we get it started, but it'd be nice if we didn't have to replace the seals. That's interesting about the sootiness on yours. I'm hoping you subscribe here so you can comment on the rest as I go along with this. There'll be plenty of questions. I don't know much about the valve seals and not heard of any issues again if you ask on the Facebook site someone will get back to you as there are some on the site who have done some more in depth upgrades to the cylinder and head/valves. Looking forward to watching you get it up and running. Re the damage/ your thoughts re not being the correct milage - I am always catching my front mudguard lip and brake/clutch levers no matter how careful I am and that's mainly as I manuver in some tight spaces at home as I don't have much space for it that could explain the same with yours. The seat is the tell tale as they split at the rear seam if they have been used a bit those brake pads are virtually u used another tell tale. .

@@simonjudd1 Yeah it's a weird mix of damaged bits plus mint bits. But as you say it's probably very low mileage al the same. I spent yesterday finishing up the brake calipers and master cylinders. Those came up nice. I also cleaned out the carb and applied a new gasket set. The main jet holder is quite badly pitted on one side. I had a look online today but it's not a part that is available. So I've put that together and we'll install all those items next session.
