Thank you Dr. Ekberg as I really enjoyed this morning briefing as it explained more of what other doctors, or health professionals have either intentionally, or unintentionally left this type of information out. I e received so much from your one week briefings in six months than I would say I learned from others in five years. Please keep up the excellent work sir! Lastly, can you address some of the health professionals that state even olive oil is bad for your arteries? I usually make my own salad dressing using a high quality olive oil along with balsamic dressing, so am I clogging my arteries, and veins?

What I really like about Sten is his lack of hype. I particularly like the emphasis that food is not medicine, but rather that by eating good food, you won't need any medicine.

Well, food is also medicine. I've only been ill twice in the past 15 years (after a 15 year streak of not even getting a cold/flu once), but if I ever do get a cold or flu, I consume a load of extra virgin olive oil, raw garlic, raw onion, and lemon juice, it kills off any pathogenic viral or bacterial organisms within a day or two.

MY favorite thing is his tendency to frame his advice in 2 tiers. TIER 1) is to STOP DOING whate he tells you to STOP DOING! Focus like a LAZER BEAM ON THAT. AFTER you have STOPPED DOING those things then Tier 2) comes into play. MOST FOLKS attempt to "negotiate." They look for the "broccoli flakes" to ADD to what they're doing hoping that will "make up for" those things they don't want to give up. IT WON'T and I enjoy the Dr's occasional reminders...

Aching joints are completely gone, taming daily walks and feel like I am walking on pillows and every shred of irritated sinus, lung or other annoyances are gone. Oh, amd have gone from 216 pounds to 204. I have fasted long enough to know i will put some of that back on once I start eating. Plan it to hit 195, then stop fasting. I have my lettuce, sauerkraut, sardines and meats ready to go, eaten slowly in that order, over many hours to break fast. I plan on going minimum 7 days of fasting but might do my first 10 day. This isn't so much for you readers, just for myself. When I put it put into the public, the, "real world," it feels more real and thus attainable.

@tigerspiritjourney10 ай бұрын
The temperature of metal pipes is very low compared to your normal body temperature of 37 degrees C. Think about it... 🤔That analogy is completely debunked.
@elizabethwhite10689 ай бұрын
We are not bomb calorimeters, neither are our bodies built of metal or plastic pipes. Fats (from real food) are metabolized and broken down into energy and building blocks, starting with the bile in our stomachs. They aren't passing through us in the whole original form. Using an analogy to pipes has been nothing but a confusing disservice to humans, which convinced us that seed oils were good for us. It was a marketing scheme for seed oils, like demonizing cholesterol. Our bodies have no pathway to metabolize seed oils, they are not recognized as food or nutrition by our system. So the scary question is really, what happens to them in our system? One thing I noticed right away after switching to a real, whole food diet was I didn't feel greasy skin after eating fat. I always felt my skin become greasy a couple of hours after eating something like a piece of frozen fried chicken. Yet now I eat over 100 grams of fat from real food a day and never feel that greasy skin. So I think at least some of the seed oils are purged out of our pores. God knows what happens to the rest inside of us. Nothing good, that's for sure.

Here's a ChatGPT summary: - 86% of people believe omega-3s are healthy. - 81% believe soybean oil is healthy. - The healthiness of fats depends on quality, circumstance, and type. - The speaker debunks the lie that fat makes you fat due to its higher calorie content compared to proteins and carbohydrates. - Humans use enzymes, receptors, cofactors, and hormones to process food, not calories. - Insulin is responsible for storing excess energy as fat (lipogenesis) and can prevent fat breakdown when levels are high. - Insulin resistance leads to chronically high insulin levels, promoting hunger and overeating. - Carbohydrates are the main contributors to insulin resistance, not dietary fats. - Mono unsaturated fats, like those in olive oil, are considered healthy, but the oil also contains saturated and polyunsaturated fats. - Beef has a similar fat composition to olive oil, with a high mono unsaturated fat content. - Soybean oil, commonly consumed in the U.S., has a high polyunsaturated fat content and is not similar to olive oil. - The Mediterranean diet, rich in olive oil, is associated with low heart disease, unlike the U.S. diet high in soybean oil. - Saturated fatty acids are straight and solid at room temperature, making them stable and non-reactive. - Mono unsaturated fatty acids have a kink due to a double bond, making them liquid at room temperature but still stable. - Poly unsaturated fatty acids have multiple double bonds, making them liquid even in cold temperatures but highly reactive and prone to oxidation. - Trans fats are man-made and unnatural, linked to health issues like heart disease and fatty liver. - Natural trans fats like CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) found in cows can be beneficial. - Omega-3s and omega-6s are types of polyunsaturated fatty acids, with omega-3s like EPA and DHA being essential and beneficial. - Soybean oil contains no EPA or DHA, and the conversion from ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) to EPA/DHA is poor. - EPA supports cardiovascular health and has anti-inflammatory properties, while DHA is critical for brain development and cognitive function. - Polyunsaturated fatty acids are sensitive to oxidation and can become harmful when processed or rancid. - The best sources of mono unsaturated fats are extra virgin olive oil and avocado oil, while saturated fats from coconut oil, butter, and meat are good for energy. - The body's stored fat composition is similar to that of beef, with a high content of mono unsaturated and saturated fats. - The main message: The belief that dietary fat makes you fat is a lie; instead, carbohydrates contribute to insulin resistance, and the type and quality of fats consumed are crucial for health.

I believe the oils are hydrogenated after blending with nickel catalyst powder and after the reaction, catalyst is filtered out. Filtration cannot remove catalyst completely. Moreover there could be byproducts from the reaction.

😊 the corporations making our foods don't care about our health. Because polyunsaturated fats are cheaper means they will make more profit.
