Welcome to the Audison AP bit tutorial, Chapter 1 -Product Brief
The Audison Prima amplifiers boast extremely compact dimensions, ease of connection and an elegant look. It is the first Audison amplifier line with built-in DSP
The AP bit amplifier line is made up of three models featuring DSP with 9 channels, all of which independently adjustable. In addition, two power amplifiers are also available, to be combined with the AP bit to extend power and flexibility

So the amplifier can play audio stand alone from the optical port but not from the USB port?

Question please: Do I need to use the crossover network that came with my tweeters and midrange if I use the Audison ap8.9 bit?

You dont need to use the crossover if you want to run it Fully Active, you can use Channel 1 and 2 to power the tweeter each side, then bridge the Channel 3,4,5,6 for your midbass. You will still have two channel left for the rear. There are unlimited possibilities with Audison 8.9 bit.

Beware of the setups like that, since at the initial run, the full range might comes to the tweeter and possible damaging it
