Just picked up my new boots, how do they compare with my old Brasher's now Berghaus own the company?

Any boot with glued plastic rand will tear like that

I bought some of these for my hobby, Kit Kat wrapper collecting and aeroplane tail plane number spotting , they where great until I got the Wallace hoppits which are much better , more durable and they come in British racing Green plus you get a Wallace hoppit key ring , I’ve worn them for 6 months now and the sole has only worn down 0000000.2 mm , I will do a review soon.

Mine split on the creases at the front (on both sides) making them totally useless. Brasher are trying to live on a reputation they no longer deserve. Brasher (once made in UK) are now made in China, like nearly everything else. The quality has come down, the price has stayed up.

Did you actually polish them regularly at all? They look like they've split from drying out

So cut a long story short Brasher footwear haven't been bought out by berghaus whatsoever as they're owned by the same company from what I can gather they found out that the younger generation were buying berghaus instead of Brasher so they just married to in with berghaus instead as they were going to be losing out on money but now get into the care side of your boots you need to be feeding your leather boots otherwise they will crack so please do not use wax as wax just not seep into leather it just sits on top I use nikwax cream on my boots so it comes in a white tube which you would squeeze a little bit onto your finger and then just rub all over the leather that will help to keep the Liver nice and moist and also do not forget to wash the boots 2 in every 5 to 6 months so you would want to use the networks footwear cleaning gel which comes in a white tube with a green lid if you take care of your boots they will last and also as far as I know with the hill Masters once the souls gone you should be able to take it to your nearest cobblers it should cost you between 65 to £75 for a new soul.
