#1 Best Base Location To Build In Palworld !! INFINITE ORE, INGOTS, And COAL !

Seen lots of comments about not being able to build here. You MUST place enough foundations down to cover where the Palbox will go. Minimum 2x3 foundations 3x3 foundations to be safe. Unless you place on the ground.

To the left in the basin with the isolated lake is a skill fruit tree , on the right at the bottom of the water fall is a dungeon and a black market pal trader spawn , slightly further out on the right is an open space with even more nodes

Found this spot a few days back. As a casual player, this was an amazing spot to discover - especially when I only found out the other day that you could turn off raids in settings 😂 but before I turned it off, yes, I don’t think you can get raided on that area.

I have a base over to the east of there on that same island that I found and set up for ore . Had been (after seeing everyone pointing this location out) thinking of moving that base over to here, but the ore base doesn't get attacked. The raids -- even the flying ones -- don't path correctly to it. So I've been in the process of getting my first base broken down and moved over. I like the set up of that first base -- except for how I'm starting to get torn apart and lose everyone during every raid. So I'm thinking having bases that can't be reached by the raids has a lot of appeal. Just a lot of stuff to figure out how to rebuild elsewhere in a decent way for my own pal's pathing.

That’s a good idea, BUT DO NOT PUT DOWN WALLS AROUND THE BASE! I don’t know how they do it, but when those stupid wooden walls were there, the pals would keep getting out, and then basically starve. When I tore down those walls, no more problem.

On my west base, I have stone walls on the outside of where I've got the beds in a corner away from all the mining spots and haven't had any issues with the Pals getting out or falling off the base. My east base, had at one point had no walls and I lost a dingbat Pal who went for a swim in the water that runs through the middle of the base and drowned. So I did start putting down a combination of stone foundations (where there are no mining spots) and the stone defensive walls where a foundation would cause issues with mining. I've got stone foundations with protective stone walls over the water where I can for a bridge and haven't had any issues with the Pals going where they shouldn't. That might be from the improved pathfinding they've put in. Not sure. I try to keep as close to the border of the base with the defensive walls, since they don't need a foundation and -- with fiddling -- can form a pretty tight wall. It did take some restructuring and switching to smaller storage containers than the huge metal shipping container looking storage as well as an update before al the bugs seem to have gotten worked out on the Eastern base, but currently, things seem fine. It is currently my only base that occasionally gets attacked, but the ground based enemies can't reach me and the even the flying attack force seems to follow the same ground based path and stop at the same place far far below.

This is the one mandatory spot, other 2 base slots are preferences but you need an ignot farm here, its just so much more efficient.

There's no other spot on the current map that has two resources like this. It will probably be nerfed later to only have one resource, or lessen the coal/ore nodes. Even then, the fact that it's raid proof and has end game resources is pretty boss. There's no need to build any walls or worry about defending it. Anything that spawns to raid won't make it there.

Base base is slightly southeast of here it's 2 mountains and i have my palbox on the 2 with a bridge inbetween. Has 5 coal and 7 ore

This is without doubt the best location for a 2nd base dedicated to Ore + Coal. You didn't mention it but you did it and it's important, don't put any pals with lumbering or it'll really reduce the time spent on mining and transporting the Ore to maximize respawn of the resources.

another good base location is the flat area near the Church in the red forest by the first tower good if your just staring most raid spawn by the tower and can’t get to you and a wall on the only path stops the ones that can get to up you

Faleris is a good alternative to Jormuntide Ignis. Level 3 kindling, but rarely gets stuck, and can transport when you have nothing queue’d

Just tried to do a multistory main base here. Multilevel bases doesn't work in this game. The pals wont go from 1 level to the next on thier own. They dont take the z axis into account when on different levels. Also when you close the game then reload they go back to the palbox so setting up a self contained levels is out. Hope this is fixed soon. Awesome game though.

You can also breed Anubis from quivern and chillex might have spelled those wrong but I managed to get both in alpha form with good passives and bread them into the Anubis!

Directly west and just down in elevation slightly is another hill with an additional 6ish coal nodes if the ones in your base just aren’t enough.

There is also a sulfur node just down the hill and quartz node just by the tower so you should have it all right there.

I use a similar setup but I have caught 2 merchants the one from small settlement and the one from fishing village u can then buy palladium fragments and bone for cement fastest way as long as u have a money farm with the ranches

You can also capture 4-5 mau from dungeons and throw them in a ranch and they will dig up coins. With the 5 I have all low level not condensed they produce probably close to 1000 every 90mins

Ore and Sulfur require a pal with mining level 2 or greater. Quartz and Coal require a pal with mining level 3 or greater.

My base has a dozen Anubis with artisan, legend, serious, lucky. I don't think there's a better combination for doing the work around base.

Another upside to this location, directly north, in the ice biome, over the lake and hills, pure quarts spawn there.

It’s kind of buggy and collides with your own character from time to time. Try rotating it a bit

I tried to build on it like this with wooden base but kept saying must be attached to ground when I tried to set my hub down on platforms.. restarted to see if it was a bug and got slapped by respawn lol (top of the hill apparently will bug)

Actually you would be able to get raid because there are some pals that are flying and a good defense system is going to required power which you can get the electric generator which is powered by electric pals and you're going to need power lines and circuit boards and everything and also the defense that you want to go for is Sam defense turrets as in surface air missile those will be locked towards level 47 to 50 put four in each corner they'll protect you from the skies😮
