Dunno why you would be proud of that. Most overpriced fastfood in NZ. Burger cost about $5 to make. What a joke really. 150g of mince at MOST, some white pieces of the lettuce cob, and some sauces, with some no frills cheese. Nice one dude. Charge $10 as a combo and be a man.

@@KiwiPepega It's not mince meat from the supermarket. it's a blend made for Burgers. Specifically for Burger Fuel. Yes it's expensive. It's very good some of the burgers. Your 5 dollar burger is an illusion. You can;t even buy a pack of beef mince for 5 dollars. Yes you could use 2 dollars worth of your 8 dollars (cheap pack) of not that good tasting mince meat. What sauce you going to use? Best foods mayo and some watties? heck who am i kidding your burger is 5 dollars you arnt even using watties your using some cheap as dirt supermarket branded fake tasting tomato sauce. The bun? what bun you using for 5 bucks. if its a tip top seeded bun you can throw that in the bin where it belongs, the buns are baked fresh daily for burger fuel and they are very good buns. You cant get good burger buns at the supermarket, even the bakery at the supermarket is completely garbage. Lettuce and tomato and onion yeah thats pretty standard. But i think it's safe to say iv'e thouroughly debunked your 5 dollar burger.

Had Dennys about 17 years ago. The chicken burger tasted like it was giving me food poisoning. I couldn't eat it and I always eat all of my food. Never been back.

Australian pies are the best, its a well known fact. The Pavlova was in fact made first by Australians then New Zealand made on shortly after that is distinctly different. Australian Pav is light meringue with fruit on the top in contrast to the New Zealand variation that is a heavier meringue with jelly and fruit over the top.

They have the best creamy paua and fry bread here in Aotearoa and their double cheese paua smash burger🤤🤤👌👌 If you are heading to Queenstown check out Cookie Time, Fergburger, Mrs Ferg Gelateria, Fergbaker and Ferg’s Bar👍 I also have to mention if you love salmon you must try some NZ King Salmon. Got to definitely grab a pie (steak & cheese) from a local bakery, fish and chips from a small local place. Noodle Canteen for your noodle craving, and a local kebab shop. Thats my suggestion anyway.

the fish and chip shop you went to is as classic as you can get in nz, ones that sells fresh fish as well these kinds of shop is very rare nowadays but 20 years back you can find them around each suburbs... as for the fish hoki is nice but snapper is the one to get.... you should have gone downtown there is a countdown there as well as a ramen shop called tanpopo which serves really good ramen or if you fancy korean food a shop called tulbo which serves soon dae guk bap...

same here, i looked at his food and said "yeah that's been premade and reheated in the microwave". but there's even worse if you go to the CHCH Denny's their rack of ribs was like bones found in the Sahara desert and brushed over with BBQ sauce, totally no meat at all. iv'e only been to Denny's twice and both are a miss, haven't been back, and to not be harsh at least they are open all night, but i would rather some dirty maccas at 2 am in the morning
