They’re averaging about 30K views on the long form. The clips will reach a wider audience. Some of those might even convert to the long form.

Speaking of sewing. You may like to do a segment on the man. Reginald F. Lewis was a billion dollar maverick and philanthropist. From acquiring a pattern company for $22.5 million, elevating its value to $65 million, to a historic $985 million leveraged buyout of Beatrice Foods, Lewis's story is a testament to resilience and innovation, showcasing impressive margins and inspiring people to challenge norms and make an impact.

I think you should be careful moving too many of this audience to the clips channel. Of course, this audience is interested in the content, but I'd say most like the long-form, podcast format. If you send us to the new channel and then we don't interact with it, it's a bad signal to the algorithm and it'll actually restrict the clip videos from being recommended to new viewers.
@DJjussi1 Жыл бұрын
Would love you guys to do a breakdown on the Hubspot deal. How you were able to negotiate things like incorporating Shepherd ads into your pod, why you're incentivized to grow the pod, if the clip channel is part of the Hubspot deal or not, etc.
@moneymakingsim4314 Жыл бұрын
That would be an awesome segment. I often wonder what’s their Hubspot incentive structure.🤔 MFM’s core demographic is rather affluent..Their advertising and sponsorship revenue would be INSANE.💰💰

Been an Amazon and eBay power seller for a years now, and our margins are getting thin AF..smdh🤦🏽♂️.. Even the liquidators we buy from jacked up their prices..🖕🏼..Anywho, Private label coming soon!!💪🏼

Cricut is an example of how a single product can impact the economy positively. Because sure they make money, but a ton of people use them to make money, and a ton of people sell designs and vectors to those people so they also make money etc.

With the introduction of a new producer, I've noticed some significant changes in the podcast's format. The sound effects between each segment, in particular, now give off a commercialized vibe. Instead of the casual, laid-back atmosphere of two friends discussing business, it feels more like a sales pitch. I miss the old, relaxed vibe where it felt as though I was eavesdropping on a genuine conversation without the distraction of commercial interludes.
@PhilsRealm Жыл бұрын
Adding on to this, I think if you include segment sounds, leave a bit more time in between the segments. I am missing the natural translations and I always think I just accidentally skipped the last section of a topic.

My suggestion is to use the short form platform to build excitement a few days before an episode airs. In other words, why have the videos summarize the podcast, when they can summarize the podcast AND build excitement a few days before.

An improved version of the gamer dating app could be the gamer teaming app, where you can pick a team game (cod, LoL, whatever) and post your role and play style. The app would then try to match you with other players in order to make balanced teams. Something along the lines of "tank looking for healer and dps"

Shaan missed the point of the Clear "at the ballpark idea". Why wouldn't there be automated beer vending stations? They can ID a person and pour them a beer...no labor, quicker, more stations = less lines. This also solves my question of "why aren't there fully automated gas stations/convenience stores?" Because previously, how valuable would it be without alcohol, tobacco and lottery sales...not very. Clear would also solve that problem!

Shaan’s mom’s story has to be 20-30 years old. Today even the poorest people in the remotest villages in India have access to a basic smart phone or at least a feature phone and they very well know how to use it. The utensils thing is definitely a cooked up story. Everyone currently has and had access to utensils even 30 years ago. Nevil’s claim about India being a miserable place are true to some extent but only in the small towns and some parts of cities. I’m sure everyone who listens to this podcast from India is financially extremely stable. But yeah like every other country, income equality exists here. Request you to acknowledge these points when you talk about India. Otherwise ignorant folks will have an impression of India that’s not completely true.
