Just started the video, but end of enlightenment for LRL is a good listen on Audible.

For me Dark Harvest is a must for any Sylvaneth player. Really shows the primal nature and dark sideof the Sylvaneth

Same. I love his co-lab with the malus dark blade anthologies…. One of my fave characters of the dark elves and Warhammer in general.

Spear of Shadows covers a lot of ground when it comes to character types and factions. It sort of serves as a prototype for the Soulbound RPG. You have a band of characters on a quest that they have accepted from a god (one of which they may not worship or even respect). Sort of a motley crue of Fyreslayer, Freeguild gunner, Gryph knight dude, etc. Skaven play a significant role as well. Pretty sure there are cameos from Gitz, Khorne, Sigmarite priests, and more...

It's funny becausea bunch of these novels can also be recommended as CoS books since it's mostly from their perspective (Silver Shard, City of Secrets, Dominion, Spear of Shadows, Kragnos, etc.)

I have just listened to realmslayer on audible after watching this video and I'm glad I did. I now know how gotrek gets his shoulder pouldron and his rune and just how he sits in the mortal realms, next up skaven story.

Based on your book choices, you’ve great tastes, and you probably have some favorites characters. My question to you is, which book character do you think would make for great models on the table top and why is your top pick Maleneth Witchblade?

It's not an AOS book per se but for skaven, Rise of the Great Horned rat is an AMAZING read.

Also for sylvaneth, a good SECOND read would be dark harvest, it's one of the few times we see the sylvaneth as true antagonists.

I've yet to read an AoS book that I didn't return...... That said I went back and have been listening to the troll slayer books. Those are fantastic. Real old school Warhammer. It's not that I don't like the AoS setting. I love it. But most of the time I get halfway through those novels and I have no idea what's going on or what the character's names are

Gotta disagree I’ve loved a lot of the latest fiction for Age of Sigmar powered through three recent releases that were all really enjoyable.

Already update to date on the Gotrek and Felix audios so I thought I'd give AoS a try (not a fan and are waiting for Old World). I found that I enjoyed in this order the most so far: 1) Grombrindal; Chronicles of The Wanderer. 2) Gloomspite. 3) Soul Wars. Decent books, especially after I tried to read Neferata a few years ago, what a slog that was.
