Irún - San Sebastián Raw. I’ve opted for no music and maxed the original sound. It’s a little different but I think I like it.

Thank you for not having an obnoxious soundtrack like almost every youtube video. It's so refreshing.

Great Video! We like your commentary about what you’re seeing and thinking about. We are planning our Norte in April-May 2014. Are you meeting many other pilgrims? Thanks for sharing ,we hope to see more.

I walked Del Norte in 2008, (2012, 2016, 2021 parts) and 2022. Up hill is the way to go. On the boat across the river I met a friend I hadn’t seen in 10 years, the Camino gifts you with these special moments.

Fantastic, i did the french way 2 years ago....but the north way looks more scenic.....Walking is a great cure for madness, as we say here in Belfast...

Did you train to the point where you could walk 20+ km before going to the Camino or did you start from scratch? Thanks for this video!!!!

I didn’t have a training plan as such. I was walking long distances every weekend along the south west coast path in England so I really didn’t feel much difference when I started the Camino. I think it definitely mattered though as I have noticed feeling it more when I’ve been less fit.

@nagamachiku8699 We biked El Norte mid Aug - Mid Sept 2023. Leaving Bilbao i would entirely recommend to take the East bank of the estuary all the way to Portugalete. It goes maybe 80% along pedestrian/ biking track, is flat, cafe's, no issues with finding your way through tortuous streets and one ways. Then at the end you get the thrill of going across the estuary on the Vizcaya bridge. Its great! I hope that helps. Eddie.

Hi, I will be cycling the del Norte in October 2023. if you had to do the del Norte all over again, what would you do differently? I have heard that trying to get out of Bilbao can be a nightmare to the max-especially cycling through the busy streets and all the traffic that comes with those streets thereof, if you know what I mean. I would be very thankful if you had the time to share your thoughts etc, please. However, I have walked the Camino Frances and Camino Portuguése already, but cycling a Camino is my first adventure-with lots of trepidation and anxiety, to say the least. Nevertheless, I very much look forward to your feedback and thoughts-if any-please. For which I thank you in advance. Stay safe always. Cheers ;•o

Welcome back. I eventually did my own Camino Francés after watching your videos. What time of year was this? It looks a bit chilly at times
