+a handicapable it is a screw on cable tensioner that all carbs have. Easy to order in straight or curved design.

@CoDisafishy Take the whole thing apart and find out where it is stuck at, could be the throttle grip housing or the cable itself, or the throttle slide. I would say either lube the cable and clean the throttle grip assembly and rebuild, it is as simple as hell. RH DSD

+Dead walker Let me explain what is legal in my America. IT is LEgal to do any brakes you are correct. Under liability laws and with a observant lawyer- If YOU do anyones brakes OR brake work, without being a licensed mechanic or brake shop, YOU could be liable, IF the brakes fail or someone gets hurt or killed because of Faulty Brakes. This was taught to me in Auto-body school in 1981. The best bet is not to do brakes for anyone except yourself. The liability was bad in 1981 and I imagine, a lot worse now. +Jerry Hagerman Sounds like the reed valves are leaking. rebuild the carb and take the reed cage out and apart, check for leaks, or it may be a vacuum line leak. RH DSD
