Love your content. I'm new to electric guitar. I can't justify to my wife the cost for the lifetime membership but it is the goal. Thanks for sharing what you do with us.

Love your videos. The hardest part for me is getting used to playing the major/minor 7 chords coming from being used to playing Major/Minor chords. Finding myself really having to tuck my elbow in to play them right. You make it look dead easy but its tricky

Wonderful as always ! Just got a question , i don't understand why III is E7#9 at level 1 and become Em in level 2, can you explain ? Is it just voicing change ?
@Kerry2smooth20 күн бұрын
@@lcGtr I don't follow, both chords are used the Em7 on the front half of the progression and E7#9 is on the back half

Hi I am new so I had a few questions. Firstly I love ur vids ur the reason I love r&b like really unlike other guitar teachers I really understand u. I have a serious problem I don't understand how is there like a B minor 11. I know that a scale has 7 notes so where does the 11 come from. Is it because of the 11 note. And how do u know what kind of chord something is and how to know whether it is an 11 for example

@@WinnerWinnerChickenDinner-c9q great question, honestly years of trail and error and then understanding how notes pair together and fit sonically

Great but isn’t that E7#9 a major chord?
@Kerry2smooth21 күн бұрын
@@DonOneDetroit no
@Kerry2smooth21 күн бұрын
@@DonOneDetroit it's a dominant seventh chord with an augmented ninth
@kettlecorn802521 күн бұрын
It’s a funky chord because it has the 3rd which is G#(Major Quality) and it also contains a G which is an augmented 2nd/9th but could also be seen as a Flat 3rd(Minor Quality). I don’t understand it too much but I just see it as a tool to add movement 🤠
