Short-e! Thankyou for your awesome stylings over the years... You have been a true inspiration, I have followed your hand styles for a long time... Sooo dope.. awesome vinyl control creates a funkier sound to the cuts..... I can't help but nod my head to your throwdowns..... All the clicks in the world mean nothing if they have no timing, soul, heart or musical flavor... From all the older generation of tablists down here in Australia, we Thank You, we love you! Mountains of respect

What you do very well in your videos aside from scratching is the way you articulate the fundamentals of how to preform each scratch. You start off very slow in the beginning, thus enabling (we) the viewers to understand basic concepts of how to preform said scratch. I've watched many scratch tutorial videos on KZbin, and your videos, by far, in my opinion, are the best I've watched. For me, the language you used just made sense to me like no other video I've ever watched. I was blow away honestly. I'm serious. I still don't really understand why the light went off in my head the way it did when you were explaining the chirp, but my fucking head almost exploded. I got it. You're awesome! Hopefully you get paid for doing this. If you don't, you better as hell should. You are a damn good teacher. Okay. Sorry for the rant. I kinda went a little crazy there. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyways. I'm glad I stumbled across your videos. Keep it up. You're great. Cheers🍻🎉

ok thanks. I love the videos you make man. I started with the Qbert vids years ago and nowadays I have vids like this! Good stuff, so thanks. Great combos to learn and practice... I have a couple vids on my channel just messing around a couple months ago. Kinda rough here and there but good to watch yourself scratch and learn from yourself. I'm trying to incorporate a lot more combos and be fluid between tricks. I like the sound of your crab btw. Any way, peace from Broken Tongues! _greensleeves

Nice scratching.. you must have the turntables hooked up to the mixer backwards or something. because usually when you go towards the left it usually opens the sound. but you have it closing (or stopping) the sound when it goes to that table.

AWESOME TOOTS! Why does everyone scratch with left hand??? I use my right hand (see my Denon videos) I cannot use cross fader as smooth as all of you... I use my thumb and pointer, both same time, to drag it in and out (with my scope all the way up) you guys seems to use all fingers and it looks sexy.

Hi there, I'm sorry in advance, because this is gonna be a very newbie question... am I looking at your setup right, so your fader works in contrawise comparing to where you've got your turntable placed?? So when you move the fader to the very left side, your left turntable is muted and vice versa?? Thanks for asnwering...

(I have yet to buy buttermats or the proper vinyl) Also, What vinyl has all the basic samples?

Wait... so a 3 click flare is the same thing as a crab? So if i do a two finger crab that would be a 2 click flare? Can’t for the life of me do any flares, but n crab, albeit badly. Trying to figure out the best way to do flares. Just seems like the opposite of other movements like the chirp or transform, at least from a fader perspective

So an "open crab" with three fingers are an 3 klick orbit? An execute it with 2 finger a 2 klick flare? Is this an alternative to the real flare technics ? Best wishes
@studioscratches
@studioscratches 3 жыл бұрын
Hi, this is Emma. Yes! there are many types of flare - 1 click, original flare ( 3 sounds) 2 click, 3 click. I break them all down in detail in schoolofscratch.com if you wanna learn more. Or research those techniques and you will see what I mean. Thanks for watching and for your question. Keep practicing!
