I do believe that we need to aim for God is Great. But I don't see anything wrong with our Pastor or Church being great as well. There are often problems in the church (body of Christ, not a building) because too many Christians think they are Holier than thou. I have a friend whose Pastor keeps bringing up my friend's past and judging him on it. That is not right. On the other hand, my Pastor is not ashamed of his past and is not at all judgmental when it comes to others. What makes my Pastor great is that he is obedient to the Lord in his actions. Same can go for the church body... On a side note, my friends past and where he lives makes it hard to find a church. Thankfully he is looking to move this year (hopefully near me), so please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.
