As Christians, we should shine forth God's light, "wear his fragrance so everyone can perceive" and also learn to forgive too.

It isn't a metaphor, It's what God sees in the spirit world. I hear prayers are the same, sweet aroma that rises up to Heaven.

I think it would of been nicer to go more in depth in any other part of this chapter than that part since it seemed pretty easy to understand.

Yeah, I said the same thing. I searched up a study on this because I was having trouble understanding the first parts of it. Especially if it's not a newer translation, it gets kind of confusing because of how long ago it was written.

Would be nice but I think they focused on the most applicable topic

I was coming to hear your thoughts on 2Cor2 5-11... but you never mentioned those verses, maybe BT can create a supplement?

I was looking for the same thing.

I’m not to sure but what I got from verse 5-11. Is that anyone who causes Grief in the chapter is a law breaker. What Paul is getting at here is that instead of shaming him or punishing him we should forgive him and comfort him. Sure he wronged some people but as Christian we are meant to forgive and love that person. That’s why Paul says to reaffirm your love for them. The rest of that section is Paul saying to forgive other for everything. I’m pretty sure when we says “anyone you forgiven I’ve also forgiven” I’m pretty sure he means the lord also forgives the person you forgive. Paul also says everyone we forgive we forgive in the name of Christ. We forgive because Christ died on the cross to defeat death and forgive us of all our sins so we can have a relationship with him. (Sorry for bad wording. Writing is not my strop suit)

@@braydenfehr341 Thank you Brayden. Very well said and super helpful especially... 'Paul also says everyone we forgive we forgive in the name of Christ.' Thankfully I eventually, finally found my way to forgiveness, praise God. It was a long hard road living the other way.

@@donna777lynn oh I understand. Forgiveness’s is very hard sometimes. But we forgive because God forgave us.

Can you tell me why this is completely different from the 144 AD Bible? The 144 version discusses using plain speech in contrast to Moses. I'm looking for more information on that verse.

So it’s basically the Old Testament isn’t detached from the NewTestament - this incense
