LOL Your grandson is saying that even when the moon doesn't appear full to us, it is still all there, we just don't see it :) Quite the philosophical statement! Just like God, He is still there even if we don't "see" Him. When we don't fully see, there is something wrong with our perspective, He (or the moon) hasn't disappeared.
