2nd time here and yes many churches are definitely caught in the stumbling of grace. All we need to do is look around at all the things that are being allowed at church’s now 😞. Lord help us get this turned around.

Love your story about the pot smokers bible study. Same thing here but we were going to evening church under the influence. Jesus washed us and saved us, went home sober and saved one Sunday night in June 1998! JESUS is so amazing!

Right on time. I am guilty of judging unbelievers and I've been scratching my head over should I be doing that since they chose to live by the ways of the world. Thank you Jesus. I know God is talking to me through these sermons and the bible.

"My spirit is present." Isn't he talking about that he is not physically there but he is there in spirit because he is thinking about them and keeping them in his prayers?
@christineparker71014 жыл бұрын
Yes! because our Father, is spirit.
@piperian39622 жыл бұрын
@@christineparker7101 but Paul was very clearly talking about his own spirit. As in despite the fact he was not with them physically he’s there spiritually. The Corinthians were behaving like children with a father at work.

Great sharing Pastor! Even the son of the Almighty, our savior had to undergo the temptations of Satan ( should have been allowed-sanctioned by the Almighty , even though I see a different purpose for that , than, when I am handed over to the evil ) just like other people to teach-guide- and show me the darkness (if needed) and then the LIGHT, so that I will get to know the real LIGHT and will stick onto it ( ?? )

Hi Pastor Paul, I thank God for you and the gift He has given you to teach His Word. I have a question regarding verse 5 which the Apostle Paul gives us the reason why this believer should be handed over to satan. If this believer is handed over to satan and still refuses to repent and as God for forgiveness does that mean he will not be saved on the day The Lord returns?
@Gabriel-mv7kj2 жыл бұрын
It is not actually to hand the person over to satan, it means the flesh of that man must be put into death, meaning he need the disciplinary Action for him to repent and be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ

Hi dear Pastor Paul, what about the 2nd Corinthians Chapter 12 story about Paul being given a chastizing devil so that he will not be proud. Can it not be used to explain the delivery of proud people to the devil to be humbled?
@michaelmcintosh85993 жыл бұрын
Oh my brother we make that mistake too often to want persons to clean up before coming. Jesus called all those heavy laden with sin to come so He can unburden them.
@daletrade51782 жыл бұрын
So what if the Corinthians hadn’t obeyed paul? Could the the “immoral” brothers spirit NOT HAVE been saved?

You say this man was living with his father's wife and that he was a born again believer but was Paul suggesting this man was a lost sinner
@paulafarlow83619 ай бұрын
A Christian’s sins are covered under the blood of Jesus Christ. I confessed that I was a sinner when I put my faith in his death, burial, and resurrection. So why continue to ask for forgiveness when they have been forgiven? Confession is good enough, then move on.
