I’ve found at the dollar tree that these little circle velcro prices work really well for holding small pieces of my cosplays down so they don’t shift of fall while I’m walking and they’re easier to open than snaps

Whenever I need cosplay shoes, I go to charity shops/thrift stores and they're so useful tbh

My local dollar store just got a bunch of crafting supplies and it’s great! Like I’m taking $1 hot glue guns- Also, I never thought about using the foam curlers. That’s a great idea! (And it looks great!)

Over the years Dollar Tree has become one of my primary go-to stores for cosplay supplies. The biggest piece of advice is always think of what something can be rather than limit it to just it's intended purpose. A few examples: Used a pair of safety goggles, lids from a set of office containers, faux leather fabric, and blue plastic binder dividers to make steampunk goggles. My friend made her Wonder Woman lasso using a roll of thier floral mesh tubing which she stuck a set of fairy lights inside so it glowed. Their toy weapons have worked well for a few costumes. Another friend used one of their toy guns as a base for her Harley Quinn stick pow gun. I made my Condiment King backpack using DT water guns, condiment bottles, cylandar food containers, and collored duct tape along with a few other items found elsewhere.

dollar tree eyelash glue is AMAZING for the price. they have these white pens at mine that you draw onto your eyelid instead of the lash and its a godsend

I guess this kind of fits into the stick on gen description but in that section I bought a plastic pink gem sticker that has this little border around it for my Madoka cosplays’ soul gem and I just stuck it on my chest with dollar tree eyelash glue and it worked great

At my local dollar store they have packs of 2mm foamie sheets. Just basic builds or small foam projects I really like ‘em, i get 30 small sheets for a 1.25 Also have an exact o blades with different blades as a pack, they withstand a beating too! Not cheaply made. They have packs of three silicon finger guards, when I work with hot glue guns or my iron, I use ‘em to protect my fingers as I work with the project. Also, hot glue will just peel right off the protectors! I like grabbing the small cans of hair spray there, just as an emergency back up for my bag. Convenient little size doesn’t take up much space Foam poster boards too! I use ‘em in prop builds, securing to bottom of my wig heads to give them a wider base so they don’t topple as much. Mine has 15 packs of glue sticks for 1.25, not always best price but in a pinch! Also they have glitter glue sticks I really enjoy your videos! Thank you!

Sadly, my country doesnt have a Dollar Tree- But! There is a rly cool similar store called TEDi and it sells cheap wig heads and lots of stickers and accesories!
