Actually you can refill it. but you have to make a hole on the bottom of it and directly under the gas button. pretty handy

I love the Dollar Tree, I used to work at one here in Maine. We would take in the truck delivery on Tuesdays to restock our warehouse and often times there would be multiple boxes that were damaged enough to damage the product packaging on the inside and when that happened we would throw away any items that had any damaged packaging so a lot of times we would be throwing away shoe-box sized boxes full of glowsticks, cheap toys, cheap food or supplies, etc... Since they were just going to be destroyed and written off we were allowed to keep them. One time we had an entire box of glowsticks that got damaged, about 12 individual sales displays worth of them and there was liquid on them from broken glowsticks so we had to "get rid of them"... I took them home, washed em off a bit and had about 500 glowsticks for free :)

I just picked up one of these for 1.25 and it's black with an adjustable flame and it's refillable. From what I understand they always were refillable but you had to remove part of the thin bottom plastic outer cover in the center below the gas button to reach the refill port.. Much like most large BBQ lighters it is a plastic shell that contains a refillable tank inside. Even at 1.25 its a hell of a deal.

Hey Jeff, I received a new knife today. Benchmade S.O.C.P. Dagger (BK176) in 440C. It's a really cool skeletanized dagger design that comes to a spearpoint tip. The blade, however, is not sharp as it is not designed for cutting. It's a stabbing self-defense concealed type of knife which comes to an extremely sharp tip (that'll be a pain to sharpen if it ever dulls [which it shouldn't]). The sheath it comes with is super cool and fits very nicely with the knife. The pocket clip, however, sucks so much. It's the loosest thing ever and the entire sheath will come out of your pocket. Do not use this in your pocket. I've been wearing it IWB on my left hip and there's been zero problems there. Just a quick summary from two days of carrying. It's really neat, but I might recommend the BK178, it's a similar shape but instead of only being a point, it has a straight edge for cutting, and a combo serration. Might be worth checking out but I do not regret getting this knife, it's cool.

Linse lighters are pretty similar, they're disposable lighters like this where the flame bends down to the front when pressed. Great for pipes and bowls.

I love these lighters. I have them in two different pinks and purple. Lots of colors to choose from. The only thing I don’t like is the flame is too high for what I use them for. I do leather work and use them to burn the ends of threads.

i remember the first mom and pop dollar store near me, (Everything Is A Dollar), the food items they sold were mostly brand named products packaged for foreign countries. I remember buying a box of Bugles that had Arabic writing on the box and had a cartoon like scene of an Arab family watching tv and eating bugles snacks. Im assuming these were excess production. General mills just continued to run production until the Arab market packaging ran out. I remember seeing Hunts Ketchup with Arab writing on it too.

These come in many colors I have one in blue , black and used to have one in yellow only problem about the pre adjusted is I've noticed each one has different flame height one will have a good decent flame then the next has a super tiny useless flame.

Personally I only use butane torch lighters for lighting fireworks. You have a more consistent and controlled flame that you can point in any direction.

Interesting, the logo resembles the Lacoste logo, not Crocs. Edit, to make things clear: I believe these are chinese, not crocs brand, doesn't really matter when it comes to cheap lighters and stuff however.

IIRC Most expiration dates were never correct and just a guess from the company depending on the item itself. Apparently most companies would put the date earlier than it actually expires just to be safe.

Be careful!!!! This lighter JUST exploded in my hand while trying to light some candles on a cake . No bad burns but my hand stings a bit and my shirt smells burnt. BEWARE. Also, it was indoors in about 70 degrees AC temp. Never exposed to high temps.
