Jeebus!! What the hell man!? :D I just LOVE how you smash blocks of foam together, slap some other shite on there, fricken straws, chip cans, and BAM! Instant awesome terrain. I love your super simple paint schemes that really make your crafts accessible to anyone who seems intimidated to painting terrain. I'm pretty experienced, but I do sometimes get intimidated by the painting process, and you help with making it simple. Awesome again!!!!

Hi Eric! Great video and the project itself. I really love your channel and my favourite thing about it is that you keep with classic crafting materials and techniques - no airbrush, almost no 3d printing, no fancy stuff, just good, old, classic terrain bulding of XPS, wood and trash. Perfect! Please keep on rollin. ;)

If you are having trouble removing labels on plastic etc.: use a lighter and apply the flame in short(!) motions directly on the sticker. Don't burn it or melt the plastic but heat it up until the sticker is quite hot. The glue will become soft and you can peel it off without any residue. Takes 2-3 times until you know when to peel or how much heat you need to apply but then it works like a charm. I use it even on cardboard to remove labels.

Immediate, effective, and the magnet + chain detail is inspired. But rather than an abandoned factory the finished piece suggests a role closer to the original plastic garage; this has the look and feel of a derelict hovercar port and mechanics, the perfect ganger hideout for clandestine deals, chopping up speeders and the occasional ambush. Great work.
@irtehdar24463 жыл бұрын
Builds like this are great. 5-7 pieces like that and you got a decent table going. It doesnt have to take months to get a playable scape going if youre new in the hobby or returning from real life disruptions. And I always love builds that lets me raid toy bins at garage sales.

Great build. Gotta say, your channel has rapidly become one my favorites. It took youtube quite a while to recommend it for some reason, but in a way that was nice, 'cause i had quite a backlog of videos to dive into. Having gotten though as many as I have recently, one thing that I appreciate is your sense of humor. Every single one of your videos, in some form or another, has made me laugh on multiple occasions. And that goes a long way. That's just a little side note; it's not anything I've ever seen anybody make mention of, yet I notice it every video. Thanks for that, and keep churning out the great content. Looking forward to your next one, and congratulations to you and your wife. Enjoy your weekend.

That’s an awesome build! Would love to get my hands on one of those sets. Great thing about it is you can continuously add detail as you see fit. Even add some abandoned vehicles at the top or an aerial vehicle of some kind for specific missions. Would work great for a post apocalyptic game or cyberpunk. Congrats on the soon to be new addition to the family. My son turned 17 this year. Trust me, time flies!

An alternate way to hide the magnets is simply to glue them onto the bottom of small pieces of scatter terrain. For that matter, you could build scatter terrain that has solid ladders hanging off the side and down, if you need yet more of them.

Firstly congratulations on the hood news. That is very impressive for one day build... and being able to only eat one Pringle. Kids toys can be so readily converted to brilliant terrain pieces, second hand shops are a treasure trove for finding useful bits at a very cheap price. Where I live plastic straws have been banned, which is good for the environment and wildlife, but bad for us hobbyist. Will have to see what else I can use as they are a very flexible tool.
