😊 ¡ Gracias Matthew! 😊 Thank you Matthew! A very useful video, I have just started a daily writing practice. I like to write summaries and critiques of KZbin videos, mainly on learning strategies and study techniques, 😂 and I will be starting on Ancient History 📜 topics very soon.

I used to avoid writing English sentences. But the harder I study English, I would like to write a essay more and more.
@MatthewAlberto

Keep it up. You can work your way gradually, starting with sentences first, then paragraphs, then a whole essay. It's possible

Children speak fluently without writing anything ;-)

True. I guess those children live with parents and community that give them tons of input and speaking practice. This is just another potential technique largely for adults who don't live in a place where they can speak the language often, particularly those who are shy, introverted, busy or who want another tool to practice expressing themselves when they don't have someone to talk to in that target language or who want to get started and have trouble opening their mouths to speak. This technique is just 1 of many potential ways for learners to practice. Thanks for helping to clarify that.

Children are prompted often to communicate verbally. As adults trying to learn a language on our own we're not often exposed to situations where we need to reproduce the language we've been learning. By writing you get to see your weak points, particularly when you get stuck and you can then train to make your passive knowledge active. Every time you're exposed to a point where you get stuck and find the correct solution you're making that knowledge more easily accessible so when the time comes to it you can actually use it in conversation rather than just understanding. Children go through this in their own way when they fail to communicate adequately, they eventually learn to through trial and error.

Thank you for sharing your point of view. I have found that to be the case with me as well, where I'm not often exposed to situations where I need to reproduce the language, so I have to seek out ways to do so, including writing, among others.
