What if you want to apply for the $10 a month plan (or, which ever one comes with the website), how are they going to verify your website if you *currently* don’t have one, or aren’t currently selling anywhere else?

They'll read the application and make a judgment call, but if you do end up listing things that aren't handmade you can have your shop removed.

On Goimagine, can you do custom digital items on a per order basis? i.e., someone places an order for a personalized drawing, etc.? (Etsy seems to "want" to offer that feature (it has a personalization text box if desired on digital listings), but it forces you to add files for the purchaser to download on the spot even though the file doesn't actually exist yet until the purchaser comes to you.)

You could set that up on goimagine, you could set it up as a physical item then contact the customer after they buy it. Goimagine doesn’t monitor shipping times the same way that Etsy does.

Is the SEO basically the same as Etsy? As in long tail keywords, etc.? Seeing this video late, but tried setting up a GI seller account awhile back and stopped bc confusion. Will try again with help from your videos. TY

It is, I didn't change anything when I imported my Etsy listings into Goimagine. But I do SEO the white-hat way, it's pretty solid as far as not using "tips and tricks" So it carries over between platforms pretty well.

I’m not sure what launch is…the mosaic sites are a mirror of your goimagine shop so it’s ready to go when you want to go in and set it up. You can use it or just stay with the goimagine shop.

not shopify, that's a different platform. Goimagine requires Stripe.

So, when you say they take care of all the sales tax stuff for the seller, does that include the seller’s home state as well? For instance, if I have an AZ tax license, do I have to remit the sales tax for items that I’ve sold within AZ? Or do I not have to report those tax items because Go Imagine has already done it for me?

Goimagine does everything for you even in your home state. You mgiht still ahve to file a return tht says you didn't collect anything, though, that varies from state to state. I ahve to file a sales tax formt hat says how much I sold, then I deduct the same amount to show that I don't owe sales tax on any of that.

I wish their gaps in max items was closer together. Seems like the 1st tier would take you up to the 199 item mark before going to the next tier. I want to join, but I have 40 items :( I do have a question about variants though. If I made an item with a bee on it that is heart shaped, and a very similar item that is square, is that 1 item, or is does each variant count toward max items ?

I think that it's one listing=1 item. So if you have a listing with variations it would only be counted as one thing.

No, it’s for handmade only, they don’t allow print on demand.

I file sales tax returns for my clients and you are correct, it is well worth $10 to not have to do that yourself.

Yes, I'm going to list some today! You have to have designed them yourself, though, it's not a place to resell things that other people have created.

Affordable yeah ok. They limit how many listings, and charge u more each month. 20 cents is enough

You end up paying less on Goimagine than you do on Etsy. If you do the math the 20 cent listing fees on Etsy end up being ten times the cost of a flat monthly fee on Goimagine. And the transaction fees on goimagine are lower.
