Christmas in the 80’s was the best! So many wonderful memories. I still remember what it felt like on Christmas Eve, going to my grandmother’s house that night and coming home and getting ready for bed for Santa to come. The excitement was unmatched. I’m 42 now and I still enjoy Christmas so much.
@BethJehovah2 жыл бұрын
That kind of excitement is hard to feel again. The tree, the decorations, lights, presents, cartoons and Christmas TV shows, the cookies and candy. Then waking up and running to the tree. All the new toys and games.
@ReapR_X2 жыл бұрын
@@BethJehovah I’ve tried to recreate it all these years with my kids and now they are grown. It really kept it going for me. Just the other night my son (age 19) was talking about his Christmas memories of waking up Christmas morning and it made me feel so proud. That’s all I wanted is for my kids to feel the love and excitement that I did growing up. Mission accomplished 😊 I hope they pass it on to their kids one day. Christmas really is a special time of year and no matter your age, you can always feel young again, just thinking about all those wonderful memories. I wish everyone could experience those things throughout life. Especially during childhood.

Commercials from the 80's had so much meaning and heart. Commercials today? Lol, they suck. I actually feel sorry for kids today. They will never have the same childhood memories that we got to have. Christmases aren't as special as they used to be. It's not as celebrated or loved as it was. To a lot of people/families Christmas means almost nothing these days. And don't even get me started on kids who start learning at the age of 4 or 5 that Santa isn't real. It's really sad to be honest. Christmas in the 80's, the music, the presents, the excitement, the stores and malls going all out, the Christmas specials on tv...oh man... I swear if I ever get my hands on a time machine...
