Especially for beings working on recovering from their depression, sometimes the darkness is just a comfort we need. When you live your life in sadness for so long, sadness becomes a strange comfort because it's familiar. I know you don't know who I am but I just wanted to thank you so much. I stumbled upon this video when I was a freshman in high School and we were doing a section in theater on pantomime and I always like doing the dark and disturbing things so I made a pantomime about someone in a straight jacket going crazy. And my classmates were speechless. Then I performed this for a district competition the next year. And gave one of the judges goosebumps and got superior at state. Just the thought of qualifying for nationals blew my mind but our troupe doesn't do nationals.
