The first one gives off a vibe that makes me think of a scientist or adventurer finding something before things go to hell.
@johngoodman59765 жыл бұрын
You are God: *The movie plays* *On a beautiful sunny day a scientist finds a black chest with a skull within, he pulls out the skull and has a look at it, the skull suddenly whispers *doomed* with a soft female voice, as the sky suddenly turns black with a green hue...* *Scared the scientist drops the skull to the ground as it shatters as its pieces sink under the earth and a tall tree made out of skulls with hanging corpses shoots up taking its place, dripping as it soaks the earth with its blood* *The same soft voice echoes from the sky* "Doomed... All doomed, everything is dead, our world since a lie which kept in place within the skull of the last human being, now the true world of misery and death awakens... You, its survivor are alone, which you always where, as you always and forever shall remain for you`re sins..." *...Suddenly a light flashes in the sky, a light bright enough to see that the trees made out of corpses seem to have grown everywhere, even at the hills far beyond the scientist`s location, the flash fades leaving a black and red sky* Now the constant screams of suffering people are heard, each one overlapping the other... And yet despite this the scientist realizes that he has never felt so alone... As he trying to help runs toward the source of said screams looking for its source... ...He does not find anybody, nobody at all as with all our lies shattered to pieces, so remains only the truth... He was always alone, and shall be alone for all of eternity and beyond... In despair the scientist drops to his knees as he sees his own disfigured hands and body, remembering everything... How he created this world to flee from the solitude which his eternal life brings *The screen goes black and quiet for a while while the text "If God is all there is, then is he ever lonely?" shows up and the post-credits play while this music plays* Somewhat relieved it was just a movie on you`re screen you take a deep breath of relief and smile, taking a look out of the window... ...But was it always this dark on the outside? Suddenly everything goes black... *"Doomed... ALL doomed.."* The End... Of everything but you... Ps: Thanks for the concept idea by the way ;)

This comment reminds me of a scary story I read on Reddit: I’M A PSYCHOLOGIST,AND MY MOST RECENT CASE SENT CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE Due to the shutdown, I now take most of my patients online. One case in particular sent chills down my spine. I was sitting on the couch when my laptop beeped. I had received a text from one of my clients, Cara. It read, *Can we talk?* I sent back a reply. *Sure.* Within moments I got a reply. *I think I’m going crazy.* I typed back, *What do you mean?* There was a long pause before my laptop dinged again, and I scrambled to open the new text from Cara. *Well, I was at the supermarket a couple days back, and I was buying bread. I had forgotten my shopping cart, so most of the bread was stacked in my hands. Then I crashed into a man. He was very pale, and wore dark glasses. He reached out to steady me, and then said, “Are you alright, miss?” That was when I felt irrationally scared. I paid at the counter and rushed out of there.* Something about this story felt off. I started to type. *What happened next?* Like before, Cara took a long time to answer. *Well, a week after that I needed to pick up my son’s inhaler. I drove to the store. My thoughts were jumbled, and I barely noticed when the woman at the counter handed me the package. I looked up to thank her, and that was when I saw it.* *She had dark glasses, and was very pale.* *I think I screamed. I woke up to the woman’s face, a couple inches away from mine, shaking me, and asking me if I needed a doctor. I shoved her away and ran out of there, my whole body trembling.* Her next text came on its own. *Then a couple days later, I was at home. My son was playing in the living room, and my boyfriend was at work. I was deep in thought, so I didn’t notice my son walking up to me. Then he tugged on my arm, and said, “Mommy, come play with me!”* *He was very pale. At that moment I couldn’t think of anything, except for one thing:This is not my child. Then I blinked, and my son’s skin was back to its rosy shade. I was terrified at this point, and I feel ashamed to admit that I ignored my son for a couple days. My boyfriend noticed and tried to convince me to see a doctor, so here I am.* I typed up my response. *Okay Cara, I’ll get back to you in a bit.* Then I closed my laptop, feeling confused. She didn’t have any obvious mental illness. Although she had hallucinated her son’s skin color changing, so maybe there was something wrong. I opened my laptop up. There was a message from Cara. *Please reply soon doctor, I feel so scared. What is wrong with me?* I wrote out my response. *Cara, there is nothing wrong with you. Seeing similarities in strangers is a human trait, and very common. As far as I can tell, all they did was talk to you, and look remotely similar-* Cara answered before I could finish typing. Her words sent chills down my spine, and I shuddered. *Doctor, it’s not the similarities that scare me. It’s that fact that they spoke to me. I’ve been deaf ever since the age of seven.*

It's actually not abstract enough to be ear-buzzsaw, not creepy enough to summon satyrs, and importantly, artistic enough to be actual good music. This is some good shit.

Waiting For The Sun she's sitting still across the room a cold gaze hides what is true her whisper brushes across my skin "You're my person" echos inside a void within The tea in my cup goes cold These cards held to my chest are on the verge to fold despair washes over me like an open wound exposed to nature an attempt to regain composure regrettably a failure I'm waiting for the sun Silent night brings forth my demons whom I run I'm looking for the one My love turns away so I must be strong Even if living life without you feels wrong

"It's dark." She laughed like it was some sort of joke only she could get. She wrapped an arm around her knees. Cheek rested on an arm in a straight line. Gray eyes staring at her companion's blazing red ones. Silver hair flowed freely down her body, only inches away from her foot. Her voice was mellow, soft and held a hint of yearning. "I saw you. You shine so brightly. I can say you are the definition of light, a blazing fire that can never extinguish." This time she turned her head, staring at the stars twinkling above them. "I taste that light with you... I hate it." She paused, belatedly notice the implication of her words. Flustered, she swiftly said, "Not that I don't hate you but..." The girl sighed. She leaned her head back, contemplating the emotions she never dealt with before. "I never felt like I fit in in that light. Selfishly enough, I never tried to fit in. I tasted its glory, I just... didn't found happiness in them." She turned her head out to the sky, where the stars lit brightly like she remembered to be. Thousands dotted on what any day should be ink black- completely dark. "What I meant to say is- I like where I am right now. It's not bad. It's quiet, calming and I feel like... I belong." She grinned, "Besides its only in this type of darkness where you could see the stars. I don't want to let go of that." Aya felt movement on where he stood. The same boy, a few moments ago she opened up to, sat beside her. A melancholic gaze as stared at the sky. He sighed, "It suits you. Who you are now. So, don't ever feel like changing just to fit in." Then red blazing eyes met hers as he whispered, "You're amazing as it is." Something pricked in her heart. A quiet feeling that bloomed. Instead of delving deeper, she buried those feelings. She returned her gaze to the night sky. They said nothing more that night. Their silence held more than words ever could. The duo cherished the stars as they glimmered brightly above them.

Nice. There's potential here, but you need an editor. You make changes in tense (saying "eyes widen" instead of "widened", etc), and some phrases are wrong; "I feel belong" doesn't make sense. And the final sentence needs a revamp-- you have to lose one "as" in there, you can't have both. Read some of your work out loud sometimes, or have a friend do it, and you will see opportunities for improvements or cuts. Remember that a lot of writing is simply "murdering your darlings", as the saying goes.
