28:50 Here to say - once again commenting on this tiktok - that dropping water/ice in hot oil is seriously dangerous: It's how my father was left scarred on his left hand. He got lucky. The oil will sizzle and bubble, sometimes reacting explosively (pretty sure that was the intent with the ice). Meaning that boiling hot oil is exploding everywhere from the point of impact. This tiktok is evidence of someone endangering a fast-food worker; evidence of someone risking painful burns and life-long consequences for a stranger - for a fucking video. That's not mentioning the instant steam, which will scald - or the fire hazard it is to do this.

If she was to give “simple directions” to a new hire or a subordinate in her own workplace, and if they made an honest mistake - or if she was just dissatisfied - then there’s every likelihood that she’d hector and disparage them, since she has more power over them.

She picked it up and tried to give it to one of the flight attendants but they informed her they do not hold lost items. Since she did not know if they were going to rebosrd the same plane she put it in her pocket so when the passengers reboarded she would return it, or if it was a different plane she was going to ask the employees to make an announcement. It annoys me when people say things about others in the gym when they aren’t true - these women just think they are that special. There are people who actually do film others & this minimises the actual creeps getting what’s coming to them. On holiday in Lanzarote a few weeks ago this creepy middle aged guy was filming my 13 and 17 year old girls in the pool and only stopped and ran off when my mum went over. If I had been there I would have approached from behind and filmed what he was filming before showing him rather than going directly to him and allowing him to lock his phone and leave the pool area as he now has videos of my children on his phone.

Correct. The US is one of like a handful of countries that DOESN'T have a national language. But I think to help assimilate people it would be helpful if they learned English, or if we established a national language. It becomes problematic when people can't communicate with each other, especially with people like law enforcement, schools, etc.. That being said, we're a melting pot of a country, and no one should be shamed for speaking another language here. Maybe they DO know English and they just don't want to talk to your rude self lol. I live in Texas, super diverse, right by the border. I know a lot of people who came here, legally, from other places and learned English from old nick at nite shows like Gilligan's island lol. I have an immense amount of respect for those people, that is not an easy thing to do. English is fkn weird lol. Although.. they raised their kids to ONLY speak English, as a way to fit in, and now their kids (I went to school with a couple of these kids) are mad they don't know another language because it would have been really beneficial 😂😂 So if you come to America from another country with another language, maybe try to learn some English.. but also teach your kids your language as well. Plus you can talk about strangers in public without them knowing 😊
