all we know at the moment is that Kass had a teacher who was in love with Zelda, but Zelda had her eyes on Link, so he hated Link for that. he soon learned to accept it, and died in battle with Calamity Ganon. Kass’ teacher wrote all kinds of songs in his books that he passed down to Kass, and Kass now sings them to get others familiar with it, and to tell the tale of the Calamity Ganon, the Princess and the Hero.

@@JollyOliW I think that, if you se the BOTW trailers, you’ll notice they have an epic aura, just like in the BOTW 2 second trailer.

@oskarhansson31242 жыл бұрын
there are a lot of differenses tho (srry about bad ensglish). I have played both, and while i see similarities, we have to acknowledge that botw (which is better imo) is the first of its kind. Every open world rpg is going to feel a bit like it copied it, but thats just because it was the first modern one of its kind. the stories are very different, genshin has multiple characters, artifacts and such, while botw has one character that canuse all weapons and runes, horses, being able to befriend animals and more which (imo) makes it supirior. but ofc, you are entiteld to your opinion, as these things are subjective. again, srry for bad englsih
@144heartx2 жыл бұрын
I agree with the guy above me, I also play both and they're genuinely very different. The fighting, the art style, the story, is all totally different. I know how you feel because at first when I started Genshin all I could notice was similarities to BOTW, because when you're in the open world area in the beginning it gives you a similar feeling to when you first start BOTW (big environment, collecting things, defeating enemy camps). Heck it even does that whole environment shot that link does, when you look at the vast open world. But it quickly becomes very different as soon as you start playing for more than a couple hours. You get other characters and start switching between them when you battle, you have to build your characters with artifacts, farm for them and continuously improve them. Furthermore, Genshin's story is continuous along your journey as you meet the archons and uncover more about the world, the people you meet and their stories, and how to find your brother. Whereas BOTW is just about Link and his destiny to defeat ganon. Genshin also focuses a lot on lore too, which alone gives you a different feeling than a straightforward story that goes from beginning to end and is only about one person and his memories. One more thing is that, even though both of these art styles are vibrant and cartoonish, Genshin is definitely more anime style and less shaded than BOTW, which looks like a literal painting and is less saturated. Overall, you really have to play genshin to understand how different it is than BOTW. In the same breath I could compare BOTW to Immortals Phoenix Rising and it would have just as much in common with it as Genshin does.
