I absolutely love the longer form of videos, mate. They are great to listen to whilst working.

Just do what you do best and not to worry. Those of us who appreciate the absolutely invaluable information you share and the amount of it will never complain about content or length. Good on ya mate! Happy Holidays!

Loved the long video with some real-time repair work. It is relaxing to watch you do the surgery..😅 I did a recap on a V4 some time back using the FLIPTOPS cap kit. I can't say enough good about them 👍 I somewhat enjoy the creative problem solving mechanical aspect of replacing capacitors 😊

Would be nice to hear the Matamp. Very curious as to how it sounds given quite good attention to detail with the build.

I recall being told that in the US and Asia pots are marked A for log or B for linear, but that European manufacturers had done the opposite.

Loving the long form videos Chris! Regarding the log A/B thing, I have log B pots in my stash that are many years old so I wonder I it changed in the dim and distant past?

Loving the long form videos, the way you work is what I aspire to with my hobby builds. Sorry if you said it in the video but I'm just curious, with Ampeg, is there a reason you replaced the caps on the inside of the board rather than the outside where the originals were? Especially given you had good access to both sides of the board.

Just for easier access in the future, saves taking that extra panel off.

Cool, it's certainly nice to see an amp design that allows access to both sides of the PCB 😊

Love how you seem to imply taken that amp from 60w back up to its 100w rating was going to be easy…or is that a peak rating?

Hi Chris, thanks for the Sunday treat! I've got a question (or four): what is parasitic oscillation? How to diagnose it? What is the effect of the oscillation on the output? What are common causes? Cheers!
