Why do you use images as planes instead of Shift+A > Image > Reference? It has some nice options for visibility control and is independent from shading mode as well.

Probably just a habit. Also, I don't think reference images work in material view

@@ChippWalters okay) Reference image has nice opacity and infront draworder setups, combined they allow to aviod using quite expensive shader transparency. Very useful.

Soft are forms created by the METASHAPE addon, part of DESIGN MAGIC

This is really damn good. Also just a small question how do u get that CAD like move tool? I normally have to press on g and then axis letter for moving like that.
