10:15 - 15:00 :- STP and NTP conditions are explained .In old definition of STP volume is 22.4 lit and pressure is 1 atm and in new definition of STP 22.7 lit is volume and 1 bar is the pressure.The lowest value of molar volume of gas at STP is 22.7 lit.
15:01 - 23:05 :- Conversion of gas parameters into STP and NTP conditions using ideal gas equation PV=NRT.SI units and values of P ,V ,R and T are discussed.
23:06 - 27:26 :- Problem 1: We have to calculate a) no of moles of glucose b)no of moles of C,H,O atoms, d) mass of C e)Number of oxygen atoms in 90 gm of C6H12O6.ALK sir has solved the question by first calculating number of moles of glucose and then proceeded further applying mole concept.

hello to whosever reading my comment...so i am a dropper student who has joined a reputed institute in JAIPUR, called FIITJEE , i didn't join COMPETISHUN team's offline batches in JAiPUR because i didn't knew about them till now and i do regret it somewhat. However, i am now studying from there lecture videos of yt and trust me these r the best!!! also some of u might ask ki why are you studying from yt despite joining such an institute with such a heavy fees? reason's simple...jo dikhta hai wo hota nhi or jo hota hai wo dikhta nhi...they're reputed and good also no doubt, but not so good for a dropper :( hence here i am...i won't quit untill i get into iit!!!

#askCompetishun sir I remembered STP and NTP a little differently so I went and checked Wikipedia and what I found out was- There are many standardizations for this. The IUPAC STP was previously defined as 0°C and 1 atm (so 22.4L ideal gas per mole of ideal gas), and now the IUPAC STP is defined as 0°C and 1 bar (22.7L ideal gas per mole of ideal gas) And NTP is some other organization's standardization, which is defined as 20°C and 1 bar (24.05L of ideal gas per mole of ideal gas) - so i wanted to confirm why the STP and NTP you defined were different, and what values should we actually be using for STP and NTP in JEE

1 atm is equal to 1.013 bar, my teacher told me, that we could use any one of the values both are approx same, but use Bar according to question, as it is introduced now

@@Mr.DCreates the difference in molar volumes of ideal gases when the pressure taken along with 0 degree Celsius is 1 atm and 1 bar is of 0.3 L, which can change an answer enough for us to get it wrong in some cases. I checked out some modules and stuff and I am sticking to STP being 0 degree Celsius and 1 bar. Still don't know about NTP though.
