@rosalievillamor1488, FYI this is an unbiblical teaching. Please allow me to say a few words and you won't regret it as some has repented after hearing my message. I am not discrediting this teacher but her false theology of lies won'tset you free. Christians doesn’t need further forgiveness because God has given them already all forgiveness they could possibly need; all of it all our sins past, present and future and have already been forgiven (Col2:13,14), . John was speaking to people who says they have no sins , who deceived themselves, who do not have the truth in them , they sa they have not sinned thus making God out to be a liar….Well those are obviously not Christiyans, those are unbelievers and to those , if they confess their sins then they’re gonna find God to be faithful and just to forgive all their sins and cleansed all their unrighteousness. -Christians should deal with their sins in their daily walk and they should confess their sins and repent from it and not to take it lightly yet I understand that I’m already been forgiven from my sins. So, I confess not to be forgiven but there’s a fundamental difference there.. .. .....Two key verses that show us this context are: 1 John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1 John 1:10 “If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” If you don’t believe in the existence of sin you cannot be born again. Your belief undermines the Gospel by removing a need for a savior. If there is no sin then there is no need for a savior. Why would you call upon a savior that you don’t believe you need? If you don’t believe in sin then you don’t believe you need the blood of Jesus to cleanse you from sin. This is the description of those who are walking in the darkness of a lie thus an unbeliever. If they were to come into the light by confessing or acknowledging their sin and confess (Rom10:9) then the blood of Jesus would cleanse them of that sin as verse 7 and 9. Please revert to me and I will enlighten you further if you're seeking the truth. Thank you.

I agree with her in the perspective of the devil who is like a roaring lion that seeks one to devour. The devil will always cause us to sin in one way of another through our flesh and that is why we need to confess and make right with God. Thanks, God is good!

In 1st John chapter 1 John is addressing two groups of people. Those have confessed to God: those who are saved who are in the light, and those who are in darkness, those who are not saved. Those who admit they are sinners, and those who say they have not sinned. Now no believer would say they have not sinned, but we have those here who say they have not sinned. You see John from verses 1-2 addresses the unsaved group. Who did not believe Jesus came in the flesh. These people were known as gnostics. Note verses 3 and 5. John says to this unbelieving group: concerning verses 1-2, "we the believers declare unto you. The gnostics, unbelievers.You see nowhere in any of the other epistles are believers told to confess their sins daily as believers from the moment they were saved had all their sins forgiven: past present and future. So 1st John 1:9 is an evangelistic verse to such as these gnostics to confess their sins and be saved. The Jews got away with confessing for a whole year under the old covenant. So to teach believers they need to as the saying goes: keep short accounts of your sin and confess them daily is to teach that the blood of goats and bulls is more powerful than the blood of Jesus. Christ died once for sins, no more sacrifices for sin. And there is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood. So Christ is not going to come down and give His life again and shed His blood each time you confess. To believe such is to deny the finished work of Christ on the cross. Anyone reading this take the time to test what I've shared against the word of God. This 1st John 1:9 is misinterpreted by most of the body of Christ and takes away the freedom and liberty we have in Christ having all our sins forgiven. Be encouraged. It's a verse to these unbelievers/ gnostics to confess. Not to believers.👍🏃🙏

I respectfully disagreed with your teaching. I would say if they had believed in Jesus they are redeemed once for all time, and has perfected forever thus they would have become righteous and children of God. True redemption makes believers righteous and transforms them into children of God once and for all. Even though believers are delivered from all the sins of the world, their flesh does not change until the day they die. But their hearts are soaked with the righteousness of God. We must never misunderstand this fact. The Bible tells us that we are sanctified and become righteous when we believe in the gospel. Let's look at Hebrews 10:9-14 to see the true gospel. "Then He said, 'Behold, I have come to do Your will, O God.' He takes away the first that He may establish the second. By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified." "By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all" Note that this is written in the present perfect tense and not in the future tense. To be completely sanctified, man has to believe in the redemption of the water and the Spirit that Jesus gave us. Thus this verse John 1:9 was not directed at believers but it referred to those Gnosticism unbelievers who don’t believed in the incarnation of Jesus and Apostle John had to explained to them(1John1:1). Further they stated they have no sin as 1John1:8. John then advised to them the solution will be as in 1John1:9 for them to be the children of God, so that they could have fellowship with John’s congregation of believers and with God and Jesus (1John1:3). Believers are not called daily to repent by confessing in order to be sanctified for their sins that they commit after they come to believe in Jesus. Their mistaken beliefs cause them to repent every day so as to free themselves from all their iniquities. That is not the true faith that saves us from hell. Thank you.

I'm sorry but this content (although it is stated that passages must be looked at in "context") is biblically inaccurate. Many people hold to the view that John in 1st John 1 is including both himself and other believers into 1st John 1:9. So many get caught up on the pronoun of "we" (which I used to) and create a doctrine that does not fit into other scriptures (especially under the new testament of grace). Alot of times people misinterpret scripture passages because they don't understand the dividing line of the cross. This pertaining to before the cross and that after the cross. Before the cross, even in the gospels, Jesus, while still under the old covenant was teaching and speaking to those who were descendants of the nation of Israel. By not understanding the dividing line of the cross, many Christians today, by tradition and what they have been taught (most times as a young kid) will recite the Lord's Prayer without even knowing the true context behind it. Many believers today are still saying, "if we don't forgive others, God won't forgive us." This is wrong covenant thinking. Under the old covenant forgiveness could only come through continual animal sacrifices, which would forgive sins on a yearly basis (I believe this is referred to as the day of atonement.) Under the new testament of grace (to which Jesus shed his blood on the cross) Jesus by one offering (his body) became the ultimate sacrifice, forgiving those who come to faith in him, "once" for "all time. (This can be seen throughout the book of Hebrews, I believe starting in Hebrews 8.) Under the new testament of grace we are fully forgiven by one sacrifice. The Bible even tells us that "Without the shedding of blood their is no forgiveness (I believe this comes from Hebrews 9:22) and in Hebrews 10:14, it says, "He has "perfected" "forever" by "one offering" those who are sanctified (set apart) in Him. If we believe that according to 1st John 1:9 that we are to continually confess our sins in order to receive forgiveness and restore us back to fellowship, then we have become like the Jewish Pharisees in the book of Hebrews who were trying to convince those who put their faith in the new testament of grace that they had to continue to go to the temple and offer up animal sacrifices for their sins (this was trampling on Jesus one time perfect sacrifice, given on the Finished work of the cross.) Those who were called to confess their sins were those who were 1. Denying that Jesus came in the flesh, and 2. Denying that Jesus was the Christ. These individuals, according to 1st John 1:8, were claiming to be without sin (not seeing the error of their ways) and they were deceiving themselves (because even though they claimed to be in fellowship with the Father, they denied his Son Jesus Christ) and the truth not being in them is referring to those who do not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh and do not confess that he is the Christ is not truly born of God but instead possesses the spirit of the Antichrist (which is the opposite of truth, which is found in Christ). In 1st John 1:3 John and the other apostles who had seen Jesus in the flesh was inviting these individuals into true fellowship with both the Father and Son (remember these individuals claimed to have fellowship with the Father but they denied His Son Jesus Christ) these men were in a false sense of fellowship, so 1st John 1:3 is more of an evangelistical approach to those who were outside of the fellowship with God and other believers because they were not born again in Christ (again because they denied Christ.) These are the individuals who would receive forgiveness if they confessed their sins. And by confessing their sins they would then be cleansed from ALL their sins by the blood of Jesus and they (who once had been unrighteous) would be cleansed from ALL their unrighteousness becoming the righteousness of God "In Christ." As believers we do not lose fellowship with God, why? Because the Lord's Spirit has joined himself to our spirit, so we have been united as one under the Holy matrimony of grace. I'm actually doing a study on 1st John (particularly chapter 1 verses 8-10) and knowing who John is speaking to has really opened up my eyes, where I am no longer blinded by traditional teaching that diminishes the power of grace and the finished work of the cross. There is so much more to the book of 1st John. In between 1st John and 2nd John, the word love is mentioned about 40 times, but people get so caught up in misinterpreting 1st John 1:9, that too many, the book is mainly seen as a daily formula of confessing ones sins and receiving continual forgiveness in order to be restored back into fellowship with God. I have grace for people who believe this because I was the same. way.

What about unpardon sin
@clemdawg4360

I can help you with that. First, if you believe Jesus is the Christ who died for your sins, was buried, and raised from the dead on the 3rd day according to the scriptures, YOU ARE SAVED. Sorry. Its important that you trust 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Thats what the apostle Paul was given by Christ to teach gentiles for salvation. Its the mystery hidden from the beginning of the world in God until Jesus gave it to Paul. Thru Christ sacrifice, all men, Jew and gentile can now be saved by grace thru faith in Christ sacrifice. Firstly, we must realize that Jesus said this during his earthly ministry before the dispensation of grace was revealed to Paul. In Mark 3 Christ had not died on the cross, no one knew he had to die (1 Cor 2:7, Luke 18:34), and no one understood the meaning of the cross which was revealed first to Paul years later. Secondly, Christ is speaking to the circumcision and through his life is confirming promises made unto the fathers (Romans 15:8, John 1:11, Matt 15:24). So then, when Jesus speaks about the Holy Ghost in Mark 3:29 he is most likely speaking about the Holy Ghost in His prophetic ministry and role. That is, just as Jesus Christ had a distinct message and role during his earthly ministry and a separate message and role during this age of Grace, so also the Holy Ghost has distinct dispensational ministries and purposes. The Holy Ghost powerfully comes onto the scene when He is being poured out upon the Israelite believers in that baptism at Pentecost. John the Baptist prophesies of this event in Matt 3:11. Jesus foretells of this even in John 14, 16, Luke 24:49 and Acts 1:8: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” - Acts 1:8 Peter tells us that the ministry that the Holy Ghost played in Acts 2:4 is ‘that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel’ (Acts 2:16). However, this pouring out of the Holy Ghost also played a role in fulfilling the New Covenant for which Christ died (Hebrews 9:15-17). The New Covenant was promised to Israel in Jeremiah 31 and Ezekiel 36. Part of that covenant was that God would cause Israel to walk in God’s statutes by ‘putting my spirit within you’ (Ezekiel 36:27). This supernatural endowment of power from on High would allow them to perfectly fulfill that Law which God had given Israel to perform as a sign of their special chosen status with God before the nations of the world (Deuteronomy 4:6, 7:6). Now, we resume our search for the unforgivable sin in a similar passage in Hebrews explaining the rejection of this supernatural endowment. Hebrews 6:4-6 says, (4) “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, (5) And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, (6) If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” We should understand that when a person was saved under the New Covenant in the early acts period they received the power of the Holy Ghost which supernaturally caused them to walk in the statutes of God (Ezekiel 36:26-27). If a person received that ‘heavenly gift’, the ‘ powers of the world to come’, the ‘born again of the spirit’, the supernatural ‘causing to walk in my statutes’, and ignored their new divine causing to sin it would be impossible to renew them again. It would be impossible for Christ to die again for their sins. Hebrews 10:26-27 confirms this impossibility: (26) “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” So then, we realize that the blaspheming of the Holy Ghost is equivalent to that rejection of the Holy Ghost after being affected by His supernatural New Covenant ministry. Have you committed this sin? Now to determine whether we have or could ever commit this sin. Let’s make some statements comparing our dispensational truth with the prophetic happenings of early Acts and the New Covenant. (1) The New Covenant was given to Israel (Hebrews 8:10) in a time of national distinction in the eyes of God. Today, in the dispensation of Grace there is neither Jew nor Gentile, no national distinction, and Israel has fallen to meet the Gentiles in their unrighteousness (Gal 3:28, Col 3:11, Romans 11:11). (2) The New Covenant demands that they follow the causing of the Holy Ghost to live without sin in order to attain the future salvation (Acts 3:19, Hebrews 10:36, 1 John 3:9). We are not considered righteous by ‘repenting and being baptized’, believing the ‘gospel of the kingdom’, or by following the law. All are valid offerings of salvation during the prophetic program (Matt 19:17, Acts 2:38; Luke 7:29-30). Instead, we receive our justification on the merits of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We were saved by ‘grace through faith’. Instead of the supernatural causing and rebirth that was the gift of God to the New Covenant believers; God gives us the gift of salvation by grace through faith in Christ’s death on the cross for our sins. Since we are saved by grace, which is not based on anything we do, after we are sealed by the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13), then we cannot revoke the work that God performs on our soul (Titus 3:5, Romans 4:5, Romans 11:6; 2 Tim 2:13). That is, the work of crucifying our old man on the cross, and placing us into the body of Christ. So then, if God were to send us to eternal damnation he would be condemning the risen Lord Jesus Christ! This is the impossibility in this age of Grace. We glory that Christ hath already ‘forgiven all your trespasses’ (Col 2:13), and that God is not imputing sins in this age (2 Cor 5:19). That is to say, that we are on Christ’s account and God is not keeping score of our sin if we trust that Christ took upon himself all of our failures and shortcomings (Romans 3:23-25). So then, living in this age of Grace, where we do not have the supernatural endowment of the Holy Ghost, we cannot reject that supernatural power and heavenly gift and cannot fall into eternal damnation by committing the unforgivable sin. The issue in this age is the grace of God that while we were enemies, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8,10). We should be careful of falling into the snare of the wrong teaching that in this age of Grace there is a sin for which Christ could not die to propitiate. This teaching would not only diminish the efficacy of the cross, but would also lead to denying that Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. Instead we continue to preach the grace that is provided by the cross which is ‘to them that perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor 1:18)

Do you believe and trust 1 Corinthians 15:1-4? If so, you are sealed. You are justified. You are sanctified. Notice that Paul does not speak about confessing sins. Only John does. John is not teaching the message of salvation given to Paul. John is teaching the same thing as James. Faith plus works. Those that John was teaching were not members of the Body of Christ. John was not given the mystery that Jesus gave to the apostle Paul. Confessing your sins are not for the Body of Christ in todays dispensation of grace thru faith in Jesus Christ finished work.

@stoutauctionsshipping4695, the heaven is only for righteous saints and people with sin are unrighteous. So, it's illogical to assume you an unrighteous man can still go to heaven. FYI 1John1:9 should be addressing unbelievers to confess their sins as God is faithful to forgive and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. On the other hand, believers had already received their forgiveness and already cleansed from unrighteousness. So this verse is meant for unbeliever and not believers as it iswrongly taught by this video. Thank you.
