Good Word Pastor Darren, to show the love of God and the love I have for others, I help out my neighbors who are elderly, haul out the trash, rake leaves, whatever they need help with. Little struggle with readings over the last few days. I've never noticed the Bible talking about loving fellow believers, but I have recently. We are to love all of humanity, so why is it that believers are pointed out here?

It's not practically possible to love everyone equally. We have finite resources. The Church should be a family and you should radically care for one another and meet each other's needs. We should all be generous and loving with our neighbors, as well. John 13:35 "Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples" - there is a special calling for the Church to care for each other.

What you seemed to have missed is that the Messiah is identified as the one who came in the flesh. The trinitarians say that it was God who became flesh. This is NOT true because the office of Messiah is not recorded in the list of names of God. ''He who confesses that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is from God''.
