50 años después gracias a KZbin encuentro está hermosa melodía , desconocía nombre y autor pero es un genio quien la escribió . Perfecta. Gracias!

I fell in love with two tunes as a young child. Sleepy Shores. And A Summer Place. Later, the wordless version of Love Theme, from Romeo and Juliet. Some music pieces remain favourites all ones life hey.

Just beautiful music,😍Since my 3-4 age this is imprinted in my memory from my kindergarten class, and miraculously at the age of 54 I was able to find the song again. 💖Is this a sign ?

At the time I was only 5 years old and don't really remember the charts of course but I still remember the music as being the background music for a commercial on Belgian TV for a famous coffee brand...bringing back memories of a beautiful childhood, relaxing, romance, peaceful lounging with a cup of coffee...love it

I thought it was for a jewellers, Preston of Bolton. Perhaps it was both? As a guess I'd say between 73-76. I was very young. This piece of music is one of the best I've ever heard. Once I got use to computers and the introduction of KZbin it took me over 10 years to find it, probably longer.

Its not just the music that evokes those long-ago days, but that video made for Top of the Pops! I have to wonder who the models were and if they are still alive....52 years on....they would both be in their 80s now....do they remember those days when they were beautiful...?

Johnny Pearson was a great TV theme composer, "All Creatures Great and Small", "Owen MD" "Captain Pugwash" but my favourite.........."Mary Mungo and Midge"!!!!

Also featured in All Creatures Great And Small as a tremendously emotional piece of music in a scene where James Herriots beloved black Labrador reaches the end of its life. There wasn't a dry eye in our house that night. Also it reminds me of the sleepy, timeless shores of Runswick Bay in North Yorkshire. I think this is a slower version than normally heard.

Nigel Stock as Owen I believe, stand out episode for me was The Red Kite.
@philgraham5341 Жыл бұрын
@@dilltdog1158yes it was Owen MD and Nigel Stock. I recall it and the theme being on when my parents watched it but I was only just coming up to 7 years of age in June 1972. Always stuck with me though. Nigel Stock died on stage I think the night before my 21st birthday and remember reading about it in the papers that day as I was at Uni.
