1 Kicker L7 15 on 900 watts

I had my L7 15 in a box like that and it blew it apart so I bought a huge rhino box and now my shit hits harder than before I mean this new box made all the difference in sound quality and bass intensity good speaker for the $.

Definitely want to keep the hatch closed when demoing for others or playing music hard, it's called unloading which is like free airing the sub.

You should definitley put them in a different box with similar airspace, i think that port isnt big enough for the air its moving

I’m about to replace my Q class 15 2ohm with the cxa1800.1 but the skar subs look like they have way more excursions than the L7Q 15 so Idk witch to pick. I mean I’m still getting thev1800.1but either 2 skarv12z the sdr or one 15zvx not v sure

Single sub life👊🏼👍🏼😁.. I have a small truck that I use for work and running a single skar zvx. I personally like single sub setups anyone can throw several Subs in a vehicle and of course if done right it's going to slam and flex shit but it's a little more challenging to get that results with one subwoofer🔊🔊

I just got the kicker L7S 750w rms single but the guy put it in the L7R box. When i have it hooked up, I'll post a vid on it. If you like that, maybe someone can do that for you. L7R box saves space ngl!

Lol bro I got 2 twelve and my whole entire trunk is gone. At first, the box was way too big... I was so sad cuz you can't really go back.. but this week I've done the impossible and resized my box and still have it bug enoigh for the subs. Anyway, I took my table saw and put the box through it, cut a few inches off the back, threw another back on it and man I tell you this box is incredible.

In parallel so a wire from positive to positive then to the amp and the same with the negatives. You can also find wiring diagrams on google.

You can't wire it to 1 ohm with just one l7 you need 2 of them to make it to 1 ohm connected together

That nice and all but.. that’s what net 3.5 cubes for a single 15? You could’ve run 2 12’s net 3 and be a hell of a lot louder.. and net 5 and best the barn doors down.. But nice to see a l series in a proper box though.. too many slap kickers in the small recommended box sizes and kickers love bigger boxes tuned low.. but you would seriously based on that space get way more out of dual 12’s and better use that space vs that single 15.. also most times you want the fire sub up and port box rear for suvs or hatches.. if you want to netter we’ll single driver port.. if you want it to sound good center port.. will need to time about a -6 time alignment to get the right beats at the right time with the up facing rear ported design but most wouldn’t notice this anyways tbh.. it will bang either way.. Rear face rear port you’re about 3 splits off on alignment already so that should give you some reference

Lol, your sub is way too close to the rear door. It should be at least 1 foot back. And under powering a sub will ruin it Fast. In your car you'll get way better Bass results with 10" subs. 10" subs are way louder with a constant Bass tone
