I actually did not hear this song and the whole album until years after it was released. Along with Love Song, Welcome to Paradise, is a landmark album of the 70’s Jesus Music era.

An old friend. I remember sitting in my living room working out parts to this song. With Karen and Craig. Randy will remember these days. Keep me Runnin. Oh yea. That too. Crazy. This record still rocks.

As a kid, my parents took me and my brothers to JesusFest in Ontario Canada. I was able to see Randy Stonehill, Larry Norman, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Keith Green. I grew up with all their albums in my teen years. These songs bring back good memories.

Brings back the hope and joy of my first year as a Christian, starting a few months after this album was released. I had the pleasure of lighting a Randy S. show in the mid 80's, he was a great guy.

Randy did so many great albums, yet in my humble opinion, this was his best. Maybe because of the time in my life when it came out. Just outstanding from beginning to end.

I used to sing this song in the late 1970s and used it as an audition song to get into the 1980 line up of a touring Youth-for Christ gospel band called Certain Sounds in NZ. Always loved Randy’s gentle country rock sound. I think he was into the Eagles big time.

Everyone's a homeless child and it's not hard to understand we need our father's hand. Brilliant words to remember. I can still remember when this album first came out and I ran to the local Christian music store to buy it. So glad I did. I still listen to Randy's music, 40 years later. Praise God for his Presbyterian faith heritage.

Lyrics for King of Hearts: All alone drifting wild Like a ship that's lost out on the ocean Everyone's a homeless child And it's not hard to understand Why we need a Father's hand There's a rainbow somewhere You were born to be there You're just running in circles Till you reach out your hand to the King of hearts. Pockets full of pain and fear That's a load there's just no need to carry Let it go and leave it here Now there's no price that's left to pay With one more mile or one more day There's a rainbow somewhere You were born to be there You're just running in circles Till you reach out your hand to the King of hearts. You can try to catch the wind But in the end you're only Wasting precious time Life can really be so kind Once you find the truth and follow, go on follow, go on follow There's a rainbow somewhere You were born to be there You're just running in circles Till you reach out your hand Till you reach out your hand Till you reach out your hand to the King of hearts There's a rainbow somewhere ( Repeated at least 10 times)
