I'm listening to this message again because there is alot of truth packed in this teaching. I'm convicted in the area of listening to God's voice through His Holy Spirit; I'm one that still stumbles over the Mosaic law as it relates to tithing. I was laughing when when Pastor Paul said, "some people would rather say Just tell me what to do and I'll do it" - that's me when it comes to tithing. I just can't seem to find peace in this area, I struggle with it. May we learn to really hear with clarity the leading of God's Holy Spirit, in every aspect of our lives. My prayer - Thank you FATHER GOD for this teaching. Help us to listen and obey the leading of your Spirit. Thank you for Pastor Paul, and for this ministry. May you continue to use this Pastor mightly, may you protect him, may you protect his family, protect his church family, and protect his ministry as a whole as it reaches people in different parts of the world. Father God, may you use this ministry to open the gates of hell, and may your WORD release those still held captive by serpent; that old dragon, the enemy of our souls. May you translate those souls FATHER GOD from the kingdom of darkness into the KINGDOM OF LIGHT. I give you GLORY, HONOR and PRAISE FATHER GOD. And it's in the PRECIOUS NAME OF YOUR SON JESUS, that I ask these things. AMEN.

You are a gifted teacher. This is my second time listening to 1 Kings and the entire Bible from you. You are my go-to when I just need to hear the Word taught by the Spirit of GOD, because you have that gift. You are fabulous. I do however disagree on some vital points, ONLY because these last two years, my Jewish heritage has been made alive in Jeshua. I never knew I was Jewish, but GOD had awaken this thing in me to really dive into the Hebrew Scriptures, and I've been doing that for the past EIGHT yrs. After 21 yrs of being a NT Christian, GOD has shown me who I really am, and that is a child of Abraham, not grafted in, but one by DNA. ( My daughter did a DNA test, and it turns out my Italian immigrant grandfather was NOT Roman Catholic, but Jewish who either converted or lied. I don't know which.) I still LOVE your teaching, I have not found anyone comparable, but one close. I have three favorites, I have thousands of SCHOLARLY videos saved for viewing later. Too bad I won't live that long! Anyway, anyone can write to me if they are curious. BTW, besides being a Mama, this is the ONLY thing I do. Literally. I have no husband but GOD, I have no friends, but Yeshua.

“Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And praise be to God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything. The king of Sodom said to Abram, “Give me the people and keep the goods for yourself.” But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “With raised hand I have sworn an oath to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, that I will accept nothing belonging to you, not even a thread or the strap of a sandal, so that you will never be able to say, ‘I made Abram rich.’ I will accept nothing but what my men have eaten and the share that belongs to the men who went with me-to Aner, Eshkol and Mamre. Let them have their share.”” Genesis 14:18-24 NIV

I paused the video to see images of what people recreated of the Sea and Oxen. It looks like the basin would have also been used for baptism. I was never into history until I started reading the Bible. Interesting stuff.

Hello Alison. Since about 2012 Pastor Paul has been teaching from the ESV (English Standard Version). Prior to 2012 he was teaching from the NIV.

Good afternoon . Thank You for responding back to me . l really have enjoyed studing and listening with Pastor Paul . l was also wondering , was there a specific reason he chooses not to use the KJV Bible ? He has shared so much and it has helped tremendously . I'm so grateful that he was led to teach . Blessings to all of you ! Alison

Why did Jesus himself still keep the Sabbath?
@jennya74383 жыл бұрын
Answer = Matthew 12:1-8 to your question (Jesus is amazing in His teachings). Aside from that scripture posted above, it's beautiful to see how even God Almighty in Genesis 2:2-4 who is Mightier than all creation rested on the 7th day after working for 6 days & made us weaker than He is- knows that we would only harm ourselves as mere mortals, if we do not consider resting one day out of the week. Jesus who is God Almighty taught us believers not to be legalistic and to show mercy and do good if someone is hurting, a person needs deliverance, a sheep falls into a pit, etc. and not to do evil on the Sabbath. He fulfilled much more on the Sabbath and in His walk here on earth to show all mankind how to care for one another. When we're led by the Holy Spirit in all that we do this alone will shine the light of Christ to a dying world who needs a touch of Jesus love and mercy from us as believers.
