Let me start off by saying what a great job on this video. I was at Secrets Royal Beach on the Preferred Club side in January of 2020. Time and Time again people would ask me to send them a video of where I stayed and there wasn't one video for almost an entire year (till now) that provided such great coverage of not only the Preferred Club side but of the entire resort. Secrets Royal beach continues to change and upgrade this entire resort. I would highly recommend this place. For those who are going and for those who are trying to find a place to go you are in for a treat.

@@BaileyPate Well you did a great job. Not to criticize the resort but I am really surprised they had not done a better job at showing more of what the Preferred side had to offer on their website. When I got there the renovations were so new, you could smell the paint drying. The other side of the hotel i.e. pool has been completely changed and certainly upgraded. I will be back there in 2021 for sure. O by the way I am not one to post videos but I should have so you could have avoided staying on that side of the hotel you did. Hope you had a great time though.

Great video! Went there in January on our Unlimited Vacation Club membership and it was an awesome resort. We used our 3 of our free nights so a week was only $800 and with our air miles airfare was free Due to Covid some things were not available and they were only at 25% capacity. We did the romantic dinner on the beach and our butler Robert did a great job getting things arranged for us. Chiqui at the preferred pool bar was always on the spot with another mojito and a big smile. I get that at 25% capacity service should be wonderful but because they only had that capacity lots of people had been laid off. The food as always at Secrets is fantastic. It was Dominican Independence when we were there and the shows were simply incredible. I highly recommend this resort.

We loved Secrets Cap Cana. Stayed in the preferred section bldg 8 top floor. Loved it! The beach is amazing!

@@debbief6994 Weve made up our mind as we couldn't get a club suite at Cap Cana we chose Exellence El Carmen, club section been to the Excellence group in Playa Mujeres so I don't think we can go wrong If the dr is put on our Red list then were going to change to the Excellence Riviara Maya. But only because we visited Playa Mujeres. Have a great time wherever you choose.

I really enjoyed the video and everything you said. We are non-preferred and going at the end of March. How did the non-preferred section of the beach look like. Our adult son is in a wheel chair. Are there bathrooms close to the beach that are handicapped accessible?

Thank you, I'm so glad it helped. The non-preferred section of the beach was just as nice - just larger with more people. The non-preferred pool was huge with a swim up bar too, very nice. We went to both. There are bathrooms close to the beach... and they are accessible for handicapped I'd say. I hope you had a nice trip in March!!
