The food was ok. The hibachi was amazing BUT messed up my stomach lol. The Mexican wasn’t my favorite at all. They have a French restaurant that had good duck. The buffet for breakfast HANDS DOWN was my favorite!!

The drinks (specifically at that bar in the front- the one in the video) were AMAZINGGG at Dreams like top tier!! Secrets drinks weren’t great at all. There was ONE bartender on the beach who made amazing drinks but the others were disgusting TBH. - we didn’t eat food at dreams so I can’t compare them. The food at secrets was a hit or miss. Some entrees were amazing (duck at the French restaurant, hibachi, and the lobster bisque soup- blanking on restaurant) but others were just “ok” and some weren’t bad lol. The buffet (secrets) had multiple options to choose from and hot stations so that made it better

we only went to dreams for a few hours one morning so I can only speak to the entertainment at secrets. VERY entertaining the performers were good. They have a night club (outdoors and LARGE space) and a bar area with karaoke, games pool table etc too which seemed to be a nice area (very tight space though)

They have quite a few pools and 90% of them you can stand while you are in them, so you should be good!

Sorry I am just seeing this. Yes that is correct we upgraded upon arrival and I cannot remember the exact costs (sorry!) but it was worth it for sure!!

Hi! The culture at this resort seemed to be that many of the workers expected a tip for everything; however, keep in mind gratuity is included in your fees so you should not feel obligated to tip extra. Of course, you can do as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Hope this helps and enjoy your trip!!

We're heading to Secrets in April. Is there dancing at night? We have the Preferred Club, I hope it's worth it. Were there Preferred Club areas at Dreams as well? Thanks for the great and honest video!

The DJ was actually very good but the dancing is at the nightclub and to be honest it wasn’t a lot of people there at all, so if you’re traveling with someone I’m sure you would have fun but if you’re looking to meet people there it may be a little empty. We did not go over to dreams at night so I can’t say

It will be fun! The staff are very fun too! My only advice is to not feel pressured to buy from the locals on the beach. It’s ok to say “no” - it’s a TON of them trying to sell stuff. Even if you like something still say no and think on it because someone else is guaranteed to have that again the next day lol

Did you see anyone riding on Mobility Scooters? I have a hard time walking long distances, and usually rent mobility scooter in Cancun.

Not on the resort, but I did not leave the resort so there may be some outside of the resort for you to ride. Sorry I’m not that helpful

It is extra and I won’t lie it is pricey BUT definitely worth it!! I would add it into your budget for expenses and you won’t regret it!!!
