Yep, and it also will break spellshields, and won't apply on hits like sheen or bork. Both yone Q and yasuo Q are coded in this weird way where they are treated as empowered autoattacks for the purpose of the first enemy they hit and as spells for the purpose of all subsequent enemies.

You know, the sad part of this is just how even Yone players admit he's bullshit - and Riot Games still defends and stands behind his design as if he needs to be victimized. Hell, they prematurely buffed Yone's crit rate alongside Yasuo because "their crit scaling was too bad with the item changes" which had me like... wow. Apparently it's completely fair that they both have 100% crit chance after 2 items. And somehow it's... un... fair(?) if they have to finish 3 items in comparison to everyone else who has to finish 4.

Jokes aside, this kind of approach to defining balance is exactly what kills ARAM right now as well: Assassins getting 120% damage buffs the higher their difficulty is because people randomly get those Champs assigned, completely shit the bucket and drag down the average winrate of them which makes them look weak. Meanwhile people who are good with those champs have a clear cut advantage over everyone else because they play with a stat handicap. Always look at player winrate, not average winrate imo. Find a Yone main, preferably up in higher elo starting from Plat to Challenger and go off of that individual's winrate. Just a small addition. When you q r you have to use the r immediately to ensure that they cant flash or dash out of your ult. Even a single autoattack gives them enough time to dodge your r. But if you do it the other way around (r and the q3) you have enough time to do another auto before using your q3. But the difficult part is hitting your r without your q 3. so that works best when one of your teammates ccs them for you so you ult them do an auto and then q3 to maximise dmg while keeping up the cc.

The true damage part of Yone is deceptive. Because it's just a repeat of damage he did while in E, it's damage that's already been mitigated. They make it true damage because having the damage mitigated twice would make him awful into tanks

5fire was simplifying. Yone's Q and W cooldowns are not based on how much attack speed he has, they are based on how much bonus attack speed he has. Attack speed reduction sources like exhaust/frozen heart/nasus W don't reduce your bonus attack speed, they reduce your total attack speed. Your bonus attack speed stays the same. However, exhaust does *indirectly* hurt his Q and W cooldowns in the sense that an exhausted Yone will stack his Lethal Tempo slower, so it's still good to take against him yes.

Jax I've had trouble playing top these days as any champ who casts a lot of abilities instead of autos make his early game difficult. Countering Yasuo is easy. Play Urgot and start ninja tabis and bramble vest and just E him into your minions any time you dodge his whirlwind. The key to most of these match ups is shut them down early and keep them down.

Not a bug, its the same as if you tried to dash/walk through it, except because E gives "unstoppable", it isn't held in place like anyone else is. Basically his stun still hits, Just like Malz Ult. You can snap back but you still get the CC.

Just wanna point out that Yone doesn’t actually deal true damage. The e damage is just a repeat of the damage dealt within the duration. So armor reduces it technically you can’t really think of it as normal true damage.

Sort of. The E also applies to red buff and ignite, so if you're already dealing true damage, your E is contributing with "real" true damage. But generally speaking yeah armor and mr reduces your E damage so it's "fake" true damage for most purposes.
