I have the same alma bb and I absolutely adore it, I got it as a present to myself for my 21st! It’s perfect for evenings and days out, is so versatile. The padlock is to lock the bag and you but it on the zip part, I never lock it just keep it on the one of the zip parts. It does fit more than people think in it! I also don’t baby mine! It’s one of the more durable designer bags out there!
