I really appreciate this video because it reiterates the fact that it is okay to just let my mind go artistically and experiment with crazy art ideas. You reminded me to not even think about what others will say or think about it and that mistakes are okay to make. I was just praying late last night/early this morning about having so many ideas but not knowing what to do. I be thinking stuff like, "What if no one likes it?", "What if no one understands it?", "What if no one buys it?"....what if, what if, what if. 😞 Thanks for the encouragement and cool ideas. 🙂

Here's another thing you could try and it's the Dawn spray foam. If you hold it back about a foot or so it will leave bubbles. (And they may move for you) First spray it on some cardboard and you can practice to see how far away you need to be to get the effect maybe that your looking for. 😸 Also you could water down the regular Dawn just a little to get another effect. I'm off my soap box now. Lol Love your videos and your crazyness! ❤️😸

Thank you for this video! I've been wondering how this would work. I do have e a question. When I use the power wash, I have run marks and Mark's where it does go through the small bubbles. What am I doing wrong? Do you epoxy your bottom color before you power wash?
@DuncanCustomAirbrush
@DuncanCustomAirbrush 3 жыл бұрын
I do not epoxy 1st, but you may have where you spray around the 1st time and by the timw you get all that way around and possibly overlap some that you have already spray painted, the soap has moved a little. Or, it could be as I see, some times it gets those little run marks from washing off the paint and soap and as it flows by the unpainted parts, the still wet black paint marks. I would say give it just a slightly bit longer before washing off
@StarsHallow

Can you put another coat of dish soap on and spray it again then re-spray paint them doing it the normal amount of time to get more coverage i with the black? Just to fix the 10 minute cup? Also dollar tree sell small bottles of blue dawn platinum dish soap for those on a budget or just wanting to try this method. I find holding the smaller bottles easier to get the drips to fall exactly where I want them versus using the bigger bottles. JMO....I love when you do videos like this.

Try using your air gun and "punching" the dish soap up the cup! Like you would use canned air to spray drops of alcohol inks!

They don't always turn out like we're wanting them to, that's why we experiment and get creative in trying new ideas....but...I will be showing my process how to fix these fails in a future video along with some failed tumblers sent to me by my followers that I will fix.

oh my goodness I wish I would have done that because it still went through the paper towels and made a mess on the table!

I think Dawn is to thick of a dish soap to get the results that you were looking for. But as always funny
