Pretty much exact same car as you but without the 1LE pack, satin steel metallic 2SS M6 with NPP & GM performance intake. Been watching all your videos to get prepped haha. I was at the Chevy dealer yesterday getting my 2015 SS 6speed oil changed. I want to order a 2022 ZL1 6speed, Satin Steel with navigation. The salesman said it might take 6 months. The price was 72,000 with tax, tag and dealer fees. I going to keep my 2015, I bought it new and it only has 12,000 miles. The 2015 has been very reliable and no issues. I did get the Chevrolet extended warranty, it is good till 2025. I am ok with the visibly on my 2015. It is not a problem if you know how to drive. Thank you for the video it helped me to decide on the Satin Steel. I was able to see a Silverado on the lot that had that color. Good luck with car.

Alcantara is the only complaint that I have with my ZL1. It’s not that it looks bad, I just don’t really like the feel. Great color combo on your SS 1LE.

Great video, I have a 1LE as well and when I bought the car I thought visibility was gonna be a issue. After driving my car about 2k miles, visibility in the Camaro is a non issue I can see just fine. I 1000% agree with you on the rocks killing the paint 😫 the tires are great but the pick up more stuff then a toddler smh.... For anyone else who's on the fence buy the 1LE Great car I love it zero regrets.

I do not have issues with visibility with my SS either. I do not have blind spot monitoring due to having a 1SS 1le. Thanks for the heads up about the rocks hitting the rear quarters.. Now I am going to have to get that area protected as well...

I have the same phone11 pro maxI also have a 2020 2ss 1LE With the phone, I also had problems getting the phone to paired up. What you do. When you get in. Don’t start it yet. Plug in you phone and make sure it is unlocked first. Then turn on your car. 2nd bonus hint. I wish I knew it sooner. Rocks being kicked up buy the front tires. Get the factory GM mud guards. They look small but make a big difference. Congratulations buddy!

I have an '06 GT Mustang, '11 Mustang V6 and a '4 Camaro V6. Getting into these kind of cars is easy. Open the door as much as You can, turn your back to the car, rest your right back arm on the A-Pillar and lower yourself in controlling yourself with your right arm. Works getting out too😎👍

I bought that same car in same color with the A10. Took it to Road America twice now and it is wonderful on track. That is where it belongs. I agree with stoplight visibility issue and paint protection film 100% I also got aftermarket “mudflaps” from ZL1 addons. Very nice

2021 Camaro SS 1200 miles. I haven’t had any issues with my iPhone connection, 12 pro max. One day Spotify was skipping out a bit, but hasn’t happened again. I’m also in Utah. 🙂

I definitely agree with the bose speakers being great. I have a 2021 3LT v6 but seriously regret not getting the SS. I test drove one exactly like your car and fell in love with it. Those pops and gurgles def make you smile. I dont like the Recaro seats. I thought they were very uncomfortable. I ended up ordering a Black 2SS with that dual exhaust after that test drive😜😜🔥.

Good vid Austin. Love the enthusiasm, gotta live your ride at the end of the day whatever it is. The pops and crackles are sweet, remember that with my SS, but i did get annoyed with the shift lock from 1-4th gear at low speeds. I echo your comments with showing more kindness. I'm 6'7" tall and I practically sit in the back seat of my 1SS 1LE. I even took the seat rail spacers out for an extra inch of seat travel. So, if anyone should be complaining about visibility, it would be me. But it's really not that big a deal. Even without blind spot monitoring and the rear view camera, if you're a competent driver and you adjust your mirrors properly you will quickly adapt. Relative to everything else these cars have to offer, it's a very minor issue and one that's been completely overblown.

No the phone issue has happened to me on my 21 Camaro and I have an iPhone 12 Pro. Sometimes I will enter the car and it will flat out not let me pair my iPhone. The only solution I found was what was mentioned in Camaro6 forum, which is turn off the car and lock the car for a min and come back. And usually it would pair up with my phone then. Weird solution but I don’t think there is another to reset the infotainment system in the gen 6 Camaros.

I have the same ApplePlay issue with an XR. The one thing I cannot stand in the new Camaro is the memory seats. You have to hold the buttons. This is not normal in any other GM car.

Great video! It sounds like a phone issue to me :D My last phone was a OnePlus 7 Pro and now a Samsung s21 Ultra and both had zero issues with the wireless Android auto. Sure, not an "apples" to "apples" comparison, lol, but yeah so far wireless connectivity has been flawless for me... Regarding phone stuff though, sheesh, the wireless charging pad is useless (bad location and to small for anything, lol). If you don't have a phone mount yet take a look at the ProClip ones, super nice setup! Good choice on adding the rock guards... one of my first mods. I went with the ACS Composites rock guards and they were a perfect fit (I have a vid on my channel where I pretty much hit my first couple "must have" mods like the rock guards, pinch weld lift pads, mats, etc, haha... seems like you on the same thought train).

You rock Eric! Kids seats are hard to put in to the car. I have a 9 year old and she fits fine back there. However, the Camaro is a vastly different car than the Challenger. If she is getting in and out everyday I would go with the Challenger. Make sure you drive both.

Rock chips unfortunately are a real issue on these 1LE Camaros. The tires are just a tiny bit too far out of the wheel wells. Wish they had flared the fenders just a slight bit more, but that would have likely caused extra drag, which isn't exactly what they were going for. Well, I'm glad you enjoy the car. The SS 1LE's are truly top notch vehicles. Even the regular SS Camaros are awesome cars. Have a good one!

It's not your phone. It's a GM thing in my experience. Have the issue with my camaro and escalade. Changed phones and same issue. Phone dissconected due to wifi interference. Dealership told me there is no fix for it yet.

hey, just had mine for about 5 days now and i'm noticing a few noises, im wondering if i should be concerned. One sounds like im hitting small stones on the exterior and then one I noticed last night is very light numb vibrations coming from the front of the card Did you notice any strange noises?

The stones may actually be rocks. My car with the 1LE package picks up everything on the road. Not sure about the other noise.

Visibility is bad, but you get use to it VERY quickly after driving the car for just an hour.

@@Gonin60 I test drove a base 2.0T and it was horrible, and by the WORST of any car, but it was OK after 30-45 minutes of driving on the highway and city. Their is a little life hack with adjusting mirrors that will completely eliminate ALL blind spots. So you never even have to turn your neck around to check for cars. Once you do that, I don't see how its a HUGE issue. I will say lending you car can be scary though because new drivers might not know how to handle the car.
