Grill badge is in the wrong spot (I hate when people do that), Z/28 badges on fenders are not lined up with the marker lights, style trim car should have door edge guards, and the shifter knob is for a non console car. We won't even get into what's wrong under the hood.

Notice the wordplay. "Has the correct block under the hood". A 302 is the correct block, but not the same as saying it has the "numbers matching block". Does anyone know if the numbers are original, and correct?

Get’em boys. You guys should get a look at the 70-2 Chevelles and their emblems. It’s boggles my mind how you could spend so much time & money on these cars and drill holes in the fenders in the wrong place. The absolute kicker is the upside down grille emblem. Did we take pictures before we starter fellows. All of these dimensions are available in a GM Parts book. No google. This guy is really proud of his work. Maybe they should have taken their time. 8 months is nothing to be proud of.

9:01 Get ‘em boys, It boggles my mind how you can drill holes mount the emblems in the wrong place. We deal with these very same issues with the 70-2 Chevelles. But the absolute kicker on the Chevelles is the upside down grille emblem. All of these dimensions are available in the printed GM parts book. Maybe 8 months was not long enough. A routine trip to paint and body takes way longer than that.

When I met and married my husband he had a 1969 z28 with a 302. Was a great car! Helped me fall in love with him. He used to drag race in those days. 1974 Thank you for sharing. His was stock yellow with black stripes! :) I never see very many in Yellow?

I'm a Mopar guy but the 69 Z28 is definitely my favorite Camaro other than the 69 ZL-1 of course. But the ZL-1 was more of a purpose built factory drag car than an actual street going muscle car. Love the sound of the solid lifter Chevy 302 small block through the factory chambered exhaust system. I've heard of some engine builders like Smokey Yunick getting upwards of 400 horses out of these things. Pretty incredible numbers for such a small displacement V8. Always preferred small block powered pony cars because they handled so much better than the big block versions ...especially the Trans Am series cars like this one, the Ford Mustang/Mercury Cougar Eliminator Boss 302, and the Plymouth AAR Cuda/Dodge Challenger T/A 340/6. Can't forget the Pontiac Trans Am or the AMC Javelin Trans Am cars either

Look on KZbin, some guys just built a DZ 302 per smokeys spec's with the two four barrel cross-ram intake and dynoed it over 480 hp! Smokey was amazing.

The is no way to tell how many were built in that color combo. Chevy did not track the numbers for painted a certain color or interior combos for that matter. So any one that claims that it's 1 of 2 is full of crop. I would love to see the build sheet on this car. A lot of cars get "restored" into with more options than they originally came with.

The gaps on the doors and fenders aren't done very well. Somebody sprayed gloss paint or Armorall all over the place under the hood..looks wrong. These cars never sat that high off the ground...wrong. It's not worth the money you are going to be asking for.

Is it a real z28 if so you would have got a close up of the cowl tag showing it a real z28 the exhaust manifolds are wrong and what happened to the factory headers also quite a few other things that are incorrect on it power brakes and no power steering I'm thinking you deleted the ps to make it seem more like it came that way the paint is very nice tho I do like it but you over did the restoration to try to get more money from it when if it were more original it would fetch a higher number convince me it's a real McCoy z28 dz 302 car matching numbers of course you didn't say matching numbers did u hmmm why .. things that make you. Go hmm.mmm
